Although I'm no expert by any means, your plant sure looks like a P alba instead of a Pv.
But what would I know?

Why worry about it if there's nothing you can do about it?
Let see, I have tricho's growing in full sun that have developed black rot. It's on the surface. I've seen it on TBM, regular bridgesii & san pedro. And no, they weren't over watered.
The absolute worst mistake you can make is trying to cut it off, as all that will accomplish is stunting your plant back until it regrows.
Offhand, I dont think any Tricho has 'commercial value'.
Maybe from a collectors standpoint, but then who will put their entire tricho collection in a clean room environment just to prevent them from possibly developing black rot.

Ya really think it is L. fricii?I'd be suprised if it didnt have a gorgeous, dark pink flower, confirming L. fricii.
Hopefully in the near future I'll post a pic of a fricci with an off white flower.

They look like Euphorbia obesa's to me.

I've built several greenhouses, stand alone & lean to types & have discovered the easiest way to construct them using lumber is to use strips & angles of sheet metal & screws to join the pieces of wood.
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about, showing how the roof of the greenhouse attaches to the roof overhang on my house & joining 2 pieces of framing:
I'll use sheet metal straps on both sides of a wood frame, & then staple shade cloth to the wood frame, then attach one side of the frame to my house & the other side to the block wall fence, creating a shade zone the length of my house.

it's this lack of knowledge & our self riotous ignorance which has caused all our problems. What kind of problems are we talking about here?

Is it possible to have a pink flowered difusa?
Even slightly pink?
There's no way a certain plant looks to be anything more than a difusa, but it consistently has very light pink flowers.
Hasn't set fruit yet......
pictures may be forthcoming.....

Did you ever wonder what's on the backside of a smiley face?

I moved a 3 meter tall potted pilocereus with branches by tying a 5x10cm piece of lumber to the column & then adding blocking from the lumber to the edge of the pot. Secured as such, tipping the cactus over and laying it flat wasn't a problem. After being moved to a new location, removing the pot was easy and tipping the cactus back upright into a hole dug in the ground was easy. After it was upright, I removed the lumber.
As for digging one up, anything under a meter or so in height shouldn't be a problem.

Oi, Zelly, check this for your pm's to work...whatever happened to those seeds?
like bunny rabbits, they've multiplied exponentially.
Perhaps a happy birthday greeting card is in order......
Turns out I don't have a source for the above sought after ebook,
I was mistakenly thinking of Trouts Notes on Some Other Succulents (2004)
But here's a few somewhat similar, and a few more not so similiar:

It's not an australian case which is why I need the digital format. and no, can't provide much more detail other than that the reason I need it is to provide a referenced list of all known mescaline containing cacti. I have all the books, but not in digital format.Bummer.
Seems that I am not allowed to use the messenger feature for this board,
& I'm not inclined to post the link in an open forum to the pdf you seek.
happy hunting.
