  2. The major difference in respect to Australia and America was Prop 215. They had a patchwork system of governance that depended on caregivers providing medicine. This enabled all sorts of people from hobbiests to entrepreneurs to engage with the industry providing skills and material support to advance it to the position it is in today. The wider public was also able to gain a more intimate understanding of the industry and alleviate 60 years of WOD propaganda . Australia has no such luck in this case and from the beginning of the talks about marijuana liberalization the government at state and federal levels made it very clear the industry will be the domain of pharmaceutical industries. I just don't see large corporations to willingly allow commoners to provide their own medicine, they loose their market. Glaukus, i totally agree. Mobilise. Be heard but be careful.
  3. We are very far behind America when it comes to acceptance of marijuana use. I once said the old guard will die and things will change, i was wrong. Their ideas are insidious, they groom a new generation to be carbon copies to maintain the status quote. The arguments for the liberalization of marijuana laws has been staring in the face of governments since the 1960's yet half a century later we stand in a world where paramilitary forces armed to the teeth roll up in bearcat APC's and punish people ingesting elegantly arranged carbon atoms. The new push for marijuana is a wolf in sheeps clothing. We see it as progress but really the common citizen gets nothing, pharmaceutical companies will monopolize, lobby politicians to pass regulations and laws to diminish competition and the commoner who relaxes by imbibing herb will be as much a criminal as they are today.

    caustic soda

@rahli, whats the concept behind a carbonate wash ? I may be confused but aren't they are both bases. If an immiscible solvent was use wouldn't successive H2O achieve the same effect.

Have you seen any cool movies lately??

Interstellar Soundtrack - Cornfield chase (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFJ0CR9yQW8&list=PLcHOKlfZ6enPoHOd9dP7Y4YGAlcCRZllI&index=2) . Put some headphones on and breathe in the music. Interstellar is such a great movie, it makes you think. Can we overcome our baser instincts and unite as one people or are our baser instincts what makes us human.

    Cyrenian House/Farm - Perth

BT and Fade, withdrawal is a part of life. Forming dependance is part of life, what we form dependance with may be different. Firstly i'm not saying depending on other people is weak or a foible but when it comes to dependance the reality is you are the person that must give up and continue down the path you have chosen. Don't waste your money on support groups and expensive camps because once you are outside of that comfort zone and back in the place you started, old habits die hard. Withdrawal may not be pretty and may be tourterous but that is the route you must take. Its a few sleepless nights and discomfort but its only temporary, look forward not back. It may be wise to step back from the situations or social groups you were in before that promoted your consumption, but only step back, not become recluse. It may also be beneficial to take up another activity that benefits you physically and emotionally, eg martial art, gym, swimming what ever you like really! You are not a special case, there are many many people around that get through withdrawal and you are no different.

    Australian Day of the Dead

ANZAC day is the celebration of men and women who have fought in the Australian armed services. It is part of nationalistic identity and is part of our history. You dont have to be a pure-blood Australian to appreciated what these men and women have done. And you dont have to be a pure-blood australian to be australian. ANZAC day is celebrated by many people of many different backgrounds, Most people don't join up for service with hate in there heart but to be proud and contribute to their country in a way they see fit. b

New Restrictions due to Clan labs

POLICE want to restrict Bunnings and similar stores selling some chemical products to smash illegal drug laboratories. Senior officers will talk to hardware, supermarket and garden-store chains to limit the sale of drain cleaners, acids and fertilisers used on lawns. Customers might have to show a driver's licence and have their details logged on a database, as is the case when buying pseudoephedrine-based cold and flu tablets from chemists. Other ideas being discussed include a code of conduct for retailers or displaying the restricted items in cages or out of reach. WA Police this week busted the 87th drug lab for the year a dramatic increase on 58 clandestine laboratories uncovered in homes and cars in the first six months of last year. Det-Sen-Sgt Glenn Swannell, of the Organised Crime Squad, said police were considering measures ranging from a voluntary code of conduct for retailers to legislating and restricting items under Misuse of Drugs regulations. Start of sidebar. Skip to end of sidebar. End of sidebar. Return to start of sidebar. Newsletter Signup "It's something that we're investigating to see if it can reap any rewards for us," he told The Sunday Times. A spokesman for Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan said he would await full details of the proposal before any decision is made. But retired superintendent David Parkinson praised the proposed crackdown on the sale of fertilisers and chemicals used in the manufacture of amphetamines. His daughter, Stacee, lived next door to a home drug lab in Carlisle that exploded in March and left Mr O'Callaghan's son, Russell, with horrific burns. "I think it's a no-brainer really about having to register," Mr Parkinson said. "What extra strain would it be on the staff? "It's for the greater good of the community." Senior police have discussed moves to restrict the sale of ammonia-based fertilisers, caustic soda and sulfuric or battery acid all commonly used to "cook" drugs with bosses at the State Government's ChemCentre, which carries out forensic and drug testing for the force. They will meet retailers next. Dominic Reynolds, head of illicit drugs at the ChemCentre, said the common products were found at "every lab we go to". Of the plans to restrict availability, he said: "It will maybe mean having (these items) in a cage where someone's got to ask for it, much like they do with spray cans, (or) showing a driver's licence before purchase. "People have a genuine use for (the items), but we're trying to make it a little bit harder for those who really shouldn't be getting them. "It's time we actually looked at slowing down the amount of labs that we have rather than just trying to deal with the ones that are popping up every day." Dr Reynolds said ammonia-based fertilisers included some used for lawns and gardens. Caustic soda was used for cleaning drains or as a paint stripper, while sulfuric acid, or battery acid, was used in car batteries. The sale of some cold and flu tablets which can be used to produce methamphetamines is already recorded on an online database as part of the Project STOP initiative. Det-Sen-Sgt Swannell said a Strikeforce Remedy operation had proved successful in targeting pharmacy burglaries and limiting the amount of pseudoephedrine destined for drug labs. Six additional officers will join the organised crime team to help process the growing number of lab discoveries. Dr Reynolds said WA was experiencing a "much greater increase" in lab discoveries than other states, with 133 uncovered last year and 125 in 2009 up from 24 in 2008."The equipment tends to be homemade it's not glassware and condensers like you might imagine, it's things like jerry cans, buckets and jam jars," he said. "(People are) typically making small amounts, like one or two grams, so instead of making a big batch once a month or so, they're probably making it several times a week. "You've got extremely high concentrations of flammable gas building up inside a house or car, and something like LPG only needs a small spark for it to go up. That's why we've seen these explosions over the past two or three years happening across Perth." A spokesman for Bunnings said the company would not comment about discussions with police. How to ban ethyl alcohol

The dude, your first line i agree with. Maybe my tone was a little aggressive. This just isn't the first time i have "heard" someone write and talk in overly verbose ways to somehow signify spiritual enlightenment. I suppose it just annoys me, so i guess I'm sorry if anyone took offense. To your edit i say, please don't start the childish online grammar and spelling game. So what i used incorrect tense, did you not understand ?, would you like me to reiterate ? really your edit was just a small attempt at a sledge. botanical

    How to ban ethyl alcohol

@Distracted , what i meant by garble is exactly that. Its waffle and more waffle, use clear and concise language to convey your idea. If his argument is indeed "we would be better off believing as he does",well that isn't a very compelling argument. @punkin, implementing national park status is an effective land management tool due to it nearly removing the "human" variable while still promoting other management programs such as removing introduced species and reintroducing native species. It also is very effective in minimizing the distribution of phytophthora cinnamomi which is of paramount importance in some places. It is the precautionary principle at work and it is designed to ensure inter-generational equality, while it may not be apparent too you in your lifetime the evolution of the environment works on a different time scale.

I'm with punkin, that is complete fucking garble reptyle. Herd more complete and meaningful sentences coming out a paralytic mate attempting to relearn how to speak during a psychedelic foray. I'm trying to think hard at what your angle is and well i just cannot comprehend. And what is this bosh talk about banning alcohol, for whose sake, human kind or the now just temporarily enlightened being you are. Punkin is right, print that out and have a look at it when your older, should provide a laugh.

    S.W, limited distribution?

Patches need sufficient water either from rainfall or irrigation / rainfall . I believe if any project to increase subs distribution is to succeed multiple sources of spores are needed, not just from wa subs. Increasing diversity within populations will increase its potential to not only survive but increase its distribution through biotic and abiotic means. (without our helping hands). @nut, think autum & spring , work your schedule around that. Found that coco coir substrate left to consolidate for a couple of weeks topped with hay works best. After initial flushes rake the mycelial bed top with more hay and layer of manure.

    How to ban ethyl alcohol

What a person chooses to ingest should be their choice. To tell a person not to do something is to invite them to do it. Restrictive measures don't stop problems they create an ever increasing problem that is compounded by harsher and harsher restrictive measures. alcohol isn't a problem, people are the problem, without people it is just a benign substance.

    S.W, limited distribution?

In an effort to increase the distribution of subs in SW some people have been working with outdoor cultivation and spreading spawn in various places. Spawn should be applied to areas that maintain moisture and have partial shade. Some wood chip beds (only certain types.) maintained by councils are watered with sprinkler systems intermittently, places such as these could support mycelial growth, council workers will even apply new mulch from time to time!. What is a little surprising is in certain dabblings with outdoor cube cult, well it certainly wasn't planned but three flushes later and positive bioassay, they don't mind Perth. Albiet the fruits are a little smaller but rather dense. Lets all get involved and spread the spores, it will take time to establish good spots, but there no better time than the present to start.
