Blessings and Walk in Beauty The World Drum Project White Cougar Norway The World Drum Project The World Drum Project is an idealistic non-profit organization founded in Norway in October 2006, with focus on peace and environmental issues. The World Drum itself was created from a spiritual viewpoint of life and is a Shamandrum made in Sami (indigenous people of Norway) tradition style. The World Drum itself came to life by the handcraft of a Sami-medicineman and drummaker after a vision of the Norwegian Shaman White Cougar. The World Drum Project came to life by its founders White Cougar, Birger Mikkelsen and Morten Wolf Storeide. The World Drum was initiated during a ceremony in front of The Norwegian Parliament October 21.th. 2006. After this ceremony The World Drum was sent out on its sacred journey around the world. The Vision The World Drum itself is the manifestation of the vision, and is to be seen as a symbol of the circle of life and that we all are connected, and it is meant to be a wakeup call to humanity. The vision is to bind people together across race, religion, borders, cultures, ethnicity, colours or political conviction in a common struggle for humanity and Mother Earth. The Aim As the World Drum travels from country to country, people to people and from hand to hand, its heartbeat grows stronger each day. It is a wakeup call to reinstate our spiritual relationship to Mother Earth. As we move further and further away from nature, we have lost this relation and look at nature as something we must fight, exploit and destroy. And as we let this happen the web of life is coming undone and will bring catastrophic consequences. Our aim is to bring attention to the critical situation for Mother Earth, OUR HOME – This must stop and we need to demand from our politicians and governments that they create REAL solutions to the problems. We must take rediscover our spiritual relation with nature and see that we are all dependant on each other and nature as we are connected in one family, the human family. Once again we must listen to Mother Earth, as she speaks to us every day. And we do not have to learn the language of Mother Earth. We are all born with it, we all carry it and we all know it, we only have to remember it. Then we can listen, and then we can respect what we all are a part of and work together towards a bountiful cooperation with nature for the common good. We must give honour to the differences in each of us and work together towards the same goal instead of concentrate on the differences as something wrong, regarding race, religion, borders, cultures, ethnicity, colours or political conviction, this path only lead us to separation. All people are different, and we should be allowed to be so, but at the same time we are also very much alike, as we are all humanbeeings and members of the human family. And the most important common similarity is that we are all depending on our common place of living, Mother Earth. It is important for us to understand that without Mother Earth and ALL that lives upon her, there will be no humankind. We are all dependent on her and all her beeings as we all live on the same planet with limited access to resources. We are in deed all united and related, but what we are in lack of, is the awareness of this. And this is what we should awake to and be aware of. We see that after two years of travel The World Drum has been filled with power and spirits from all kind of people from many different cultures, different religions, different political thinking, old people, young people, children, homeless, handicapped, woman and men from many nations. All kind of people all together in the spirit of a common cause. No matter who you are, what you are or where you are, we are all a part of the great circle and we all come from the same source. I have used guarana as dream enhancment. But you have to time it correctly. You have to be able to fall asleep before the effect takes place. I have used doses up to 3000mg guarana powder and it gives very vivid dreams, sometimes of a visionary caracter. Also I have found that if you eat banana (2-3) combined with this prolongs the effect.
