best stage to graft trich seedlings?

It is hard to say what is best. I have grafted 7 Day old seedlings and they have been fine ! One advantage of grafting a 4week old is that it is much easier to handle and therefore graft sucessfully. Peres seem to take fairly easily especially with trichs but there is definetly heaps to learn. Good luck !

    Yellow dots on leaves.

JD, It is hard to tell as it's early days. I don't think it's spider mite they will leave big holes in the leaves !! Yeah like you said you can see the webs and usually the little orange spidermites My guess is the start of a scale attack. or early blight. Look closely at the stems for little white/black things. And treat as per scale is my suggestion.

my leading 2 grafts for comp.

As far as I know it is just a "mutation" of the plant make up, environment will have no effect on it. It is basically just a luck of the draw where something goes wrong with the cells when they are produced. Hence they are rare and therefore sought after.

my leading 2 grafts for comp.

Mate that is the cause of variegated plants The yellowish looking parts are lacking Chlorophyll (it is not evenly distributed) and its commonly called a variegated plant.

Amulte, Yeah I rekn he took numerous "support" substances along the way

    Vote for your favourite dissociative?

I very much doubt you could find PCP in Aust and I think your right, its not a drug of real recreational value. Ever seen "PCP Saved my life" ? It's got steve-0 from jackass and he smokes pcp for several days straight and they record the entire thing. Very very weird. But quite funny, not something I would want to give a go. From the video it seems more like a deliriant than a dissociative. I would stay clear as it is documented to cause brain damage ! But so do many others

    Little black critters invading Psychotria

Doesn't really sound like spider mites to me. Spider mites are bigger than you describe and there are usually only a few of them around. Not sure what it is post a pic for me, posibly scale or at a long shot aphid. I can remember a while ago I had extremely small black dots on one of my psychotrias....if you can pst a pic I can see if it was the same thing.

    I just can't keep caapiplants alive ...

Back to the topic, I am thinking along the lines to Torsten. My caapi is growing extremly vigorously, around 5-8cm a day. It is grown in a low humidity, high temp environment in eastern N.S.W. Keep it away from direct sunlight but in a bright area and spend some time with the plant. I find the more time and effort I put in the more I get out, both in the growth of the plant and spiritually. Once established caapi like wet feet, plenty of water especially when hot. A nice big plastic pot in fairly rich well draining soil. Where are you and what is the climate like ? Good Luck.

    Drying seeds?

Yeah it's better to keep then out of the sun, usually kills germination a little. I would also keep foliage out of the sun too as the sun tends to zap the majority of alkaloids as they are heat sensitive. I usually use the amp for my stereo or in a sealed container with one of those little decesant satchels from a vitamin bottle An easy way would also be to use a small electric fan !

    San Pedro Cutting Help

Mate ideal conds for rooting are warmth, sun and predominantly dry! If I were you I would allow my cuttings some direct sun. Not a great deal but a little each day. Just keep an eye on the ribs of your cutting, if they are nice and round or "turgid" then let them see some sun. Once they are looking a little less full then I would avoid the sun! I find nice warm and a little sunnd works best. Also, your potting medium is not so good. 100% perlite has never worked for me. Try 50% perlite 50% rich organic compost. Chers.

Growing conditions for viridis, carthagenens and caapi

Yeah escpecially important for Viridis. Mine go completely dormant at lower humidity regardless of temperature...Once I put it in the green house raising the humidity from less than 20% to near 70% and the thing will go nuts at a constant temp of about 30deg. Good point Auxin.

Regarding number 2. It looks like a A.Longifolia not sure subspecies, tho i'm not 100%. Have a look at these. A.Longifolia. A.Longifolia.

    pereskiopsis propagation

It is really difficult. I have never had a leaf cutting form a plant. I have tried a few times but there is really no point seeing as 2 plants can be turned into 20 in just a few months.

    Another Acacia ID Please

Sphinx, I don't think that is A.Obtusifolia. It is kinda hard to tell from the pictures. Where did you find it ? possibly a A.Longiolia Spp Longifolia. Not sure tho. Edit; whoops sorry gerbil didn't see ya post mate

    Black death

Mate, AFOAF has cut the black rot out and had no problems ! I would cut a little extra off just to make sure as you do not want any of the black rot it will make you extremely ill.
