is this scale damage on my pereskiopsis??

Yes Andy is spot on, it is also caused by under watering. Under watering is common especially in winter, Pereskiopsis need water all year to prevent the roots from dying and eventually rotting the stem. Fungus Gnats are little black flys, they land on the top of organic soil and lay eggs. They are easy to control with sticky traps.

Looking for 'this',... but not wanting to pay "that'

Yeah that's a good price in my opinion. You are paying for the genetics not the size of the plant.

    Astrophytum thread

All of these are type of cultivars are extremely complex as far as genetic lines go, I would simply call it Astrophytum CV Fukuryu (which means extra ribs/extra rib formation). Quite a nice looking plant it should breed well with Ornatum and Myriostigma.

    Trichocereus in the ground

Yeah I've had one or two fall over it really sucks, however once the stump/trunk pups with a heap of new growing tips it looks amazing. Did the plants 'up root' or did they just fail internally ? Mine have only fallen over during heavy wind.
  23. For sale I have 3 different Trichocereus Crest variants, I didn't label any of them so who knows what the parents are. I do know however all the seed came from Nitrogen in one way or another and these have been grown over the last 3 years. From left to right in the picture below; 1. Variegated Tricho Crest, this one grows compact but with good vigor. This is the first time I have sold or traded this plant. 2. Nice blue Tricho Crest, grows very very large and throws normal branches every now and then. The powder on it is sulfur. I have traded this one before but not sold. 3. This one is slightly Variegated and grows and appears similar to the first but with less variegation. $120 or offer For size indication the biggest one (3) is 15cm across. Send me a PM with
