  1. Ok, my friend has eaten all my subs, i need to replenish my shroom stocks. I know i am being lazy. i could search thru past posts for the info but if anyone can tell me a bit about Darwin shrooms it would be much appreciated. I know that Darwin has shrooms growing in cow dung several days after monsoonal rains. Can anybody clarify which species i should be looking for and show me some pics. Cheers. P.S Hey naja naja. I'm back buddy. Be in touch ok

    Alcohol

It is so hard to pinpoint a favourite drink, ilove them all. I have been drinking a lot of good scotch and bourbon. Wild Turkey n coke has to be my fav spirit but i will always fall back on beer, namely Coopers red. Has anyone ever drank MEKONG? It some crazy stuff from Thailand that i have heard contains natural amphetamines. It is definately a different experience, it has its negative points with me though as i seem to go a bit wild on it. But if your looking to drown your sorrows in a bottle it comes well reccomended, especially as it only costs $17 a bottle. I think it is a whiskey type of drink. Great with ice and soda. Asain grocery stores sometimes stock it in Melbourne but it is hard to find.

    Ethnobotanic cacti: Retail sources

If anyone is heading thru Victoria and is interested in cactus, look up Tarrington Exotics on the net. He is selling everything cheap. Dont be put off by the web site,he has 20 times as much stuff available, plus you can shop in his garden. If he likes u he will practically give it to you. He has one of the largest collections in the world. I bought a golden barrel 70 cm in diameter for $70! He has some real obscure stuff. Almost every species of Copiopoa, and a lot of freaks you will not find anywhere else. Be quick,he is going to Chile in May and his stuff is selling fast. It has only been open to the public for a few months and is still by appointment only or mail order. Also Dans Plants in Heatherton,Old Dandenong Road is open to the Public and he has some cool stuff and sells at wholesale. Not much of ethnobotanical value though. If you want some Trichocereus pacchanoi, peruvianus, bridgesii or macrogonus i have tip cuttings now available in any size from 10 cm to 200cm, but it will cost u

    Research chemicals

My friend did order some 2CH a few months ago and made some 2cb. The "C series are dangerous though folks. Stay away from 2Ci. Its so good but add a little THC and you could be up for a ride to the hospital. It increases your heart rate dramatically. LD is round 50 mg. I think i pushed it too. Interesting compound though, i think at doses below 30 mg it is ok but pushing it 5mg again almost triples effects and so on. Like i said, nasty stuff. I took 9 hours to come down. By the 7th hour shit was melting around me,stars were falling, trees were growing. If it didn't affect my heart so bad it would've been great. Oh who am i kidding it was the most intensely visual substance i have ever used as a drug. 9 hours of solid trippin is not for everyone though. Lucky i had Valium otherwise i think i would have had a heart attack. If you think i'm mistaken, well my heart was so sore for a week it beat that fast.

    Blue myrtle??? ebay

O.k kinoath its a myrtilocactus. The photo only pops up for a second then goes away. But it was there long enough to see the flower and the thick spines. Damn,it looks exactly like my T.bridgesii. Almost like the same plant! C.mon jactus look harder. Thank you , i was going to buy some if it came up again, i've got plenty of mytillo is someone wants to swap for something Tricho
  9. Thanks for the thread psychonaut, i want some Yowie Fat! On the question of Trichocereus 'macrogonus', i'm just going to class it as a T.peruvianus variant(which it obviously is!) until somebody proves it otherwise reclassified.

    Upcomming field trips

E, i have acess to Dodonea viscosa ssp cuneata seed if you are interested. It grows along our waterways. It has a wedge shaped leaf, hence the name 'cuneata'
  11. Yeah those lines will be the bain of my existence. My keyboard has a mind of its own. i have always thought that old growth had a higher alkaloid content but i want to know for sure and why. I hope someone in this forum can step up to the challenge of this experiment, 'Mythbusters' style. I will supply the cactus material required. If you know anyone who could, please urge them too. If nobody really knows, its time to get our facts right. later dude

    "Longifolia group" and DMT

I've really set myself up now haven't i? Sorry to be so picky, i have learnt my lesson.

    "Longifolia group" and DMT

Passive , you were dead right. The three Acacias that you mentioned are the only ones unmarked on the list that have significant populations within Victoria. Although one species that isn't on the list that should be examined is A.triptera. The name says it all!

    "Longifolia group" and DMT

Thanks Passive, but i wasn't having a poke at you. I just didn't feel the use of that word was applicable. I know that a form of A.retinodes exists around here though. i don't know much outside my local area. Now i'm on a mission to find out how many of these wattles do occur in Vic. Sorry, i'm bored. very bored. Then i might search thru some more posts to find something else i have no idea about to pick at. i'm pathetic
