Hi Xipe! Due to its fatness it looks like it might be a Trichocereus Terscheckii. bye Egthanks... it was a cutting btw, so its stoutness may not represent its actual growth habits
-
seriously though... i used to see those around a bit, so I went to the trouble to ID. From memory, they wernt known to be especially toxic, but ofcourse, I wouldn't eat them
-
never mind
-
they look a lot like mushrooms, very common this time of year

That picture is just amazing...What do y\'all think of this cactus being called a \"Trichocereus macrogonus\"?
http://www.bouncingbearbotanicals.com/tric...nus-pi-244.html
i believe I have some of that... but the mother plant was quite a bit taller than what truca suggests macrogonus will grow, although, the spines are generally shorter thank the peruv that I have

im interested but can not commit $20 at this stage of my life. How about 5 for $10?yeah... with the the postage etc, its not really worth doing it for $10, which is why i do the 10 for $20. Sorry about that. let me know if you change your mind

I hadn't actually thought about that. I generally grow all my cacti by area etc. it is really good point you raise though and I will try and make it a bit more noob/user friendly.Noobs are encouraged to join up BTW
Thanks for the feedback, some food for thought right there.
i also thought that phos... I myself would have divided by family, but that because thats how I think of cacti. I imagine though, that the cacti enthusiast will have no issues with your layout. Have u been spruiking it anywhere else on net?
