I was going to continue on my previous post but I clicked that best answer tick thingo, so new post even though it's sort of the same question.
Anyway went picking again today, found some cubes and once again a mystery shroom, what could it be I wonder. I'm pretty sure its not a sub as it was growing from cow pat, I just wanted to keep the title.
I'll upload pics including spore pics soon, they're still printing at the moment, in the mean time details: cap golden somewhat faded now to a browny colour and the shape is quite oval, gills tan browny colour unlike the purplish black from the cubes, and of course bruised blue.

Looks promising, thanks for the id. I guess I'll wait and see for sure though when it starts to fruit

I have some passiflora edulis growing and i read it can be used as a sedative and also a maoi, ive already had some experience with passiflora incarnata that I bought from shaman australias ;)
However ive never prepared passiflora before so i was wondering how much of the flower you can use, I've already picked off the squiggly bits and the petals but there seems to still be a lot of flower left and I don't want it to go to waste the lower petals seem to be connected to green stemy bits, I was wondering if you could still use them, also what about the bits at the front where to pollen is stored. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the help, after a quick search of alutacea it looks quite promising. I saw a few baby ones of these when searching so I might go back today for another look.

went hunting for subaeruginosa today, on the way walked through a cow field and found a whole bunch of cubes, i ended up finding this little guyhanging out with a patch of cubes, and i seems very subaeruginosary to me, i thought i should get your IDs though as it was growing out of a cow pat, or atleast through a cow pat, and ive never heard of subs doing that before, bruised blue too

Hey, I'm looking to start helping some bees live in my yard. I have no experience with bees, nor know anything about looking after them. However one thing I do know about them is they're extremely important little helpers and I would like to start helping them so they can in turn continue helping us
Looking for any info on beekeeping, plants that they especially like and ways to keep them out of harm. Also I'm unsure if certain bees have preferred climates and locations, I'm in nsw so if there's a certain species that would prefer this kind of area I'm looking for some info on that too. Thanks in advance, cheers

Pictures away, first up we got the shroom with it's spores spores didn't come out too well, I'm guessing because of the cap shape? And also it wasn't there very long.
Next up comparisons with a tasty looking cube
and then the cubes spores
After taking another look at it I'm starting to think it might just be a different looking cube, still looking for your opinions though.
