  1. So being in a state where active acacias are scarce and other suitable plants are rare as unicorn s**t

Ive decided to try phalaris species whilst I wait for my furure acacias.

Maybe Phalaris brachystachys? Or another type that is recommended from anyone in the know?

Also wondering if what ive read about gramine being insoluable in naphtha is true etc.

Any help is appreciated as always

  2. Yeah they have the velvety feel.

Ill check the smell soon, gonna go and see what chilli plants the nursery has and im fairly certain I saw catnip in there a while back.

The smell of my plant reminds me of the smell of molasses grass. But its been a long time since ive smelled that.

  3. Hi all. Ive got 3 sceletium plants here and all have taken on a red tinge to the leaves recently.

They have been outside for the last couple of weeks as we have had pretty nice weather. Theres been a couple of rains that they have been out in.

    Should I worry about this?

  5. Hi all.

Im hoping someone will have some acacias that have usable phyllodes (in a few years, not right now) in Tasmania. As i dont think live plants will get to Tassy. Id prefer to have the head start as opposed to starting seed myself :)

    Any help appreciated :)

    Thanks

  6. For kratky you are meant to leave a small gap between the bottom of the net cup and the nutrients and just have a few roots dangling into the solution. Thats it for the air, basically fill and forget :P
Thanks man ill look into it :) theres some good youtube vids on it :)
