I think having multiple different bridgesii is good. Even multiple specimens of the single clone, e.g. I've got 3 eileens growing now.
I reckon I will try to get 3x specimens of every clone on the list... put the best specimen in the garden then pot up the other two and propogate/sell. ebay is showing me it could potentially be a lucrative business.
My post above the written list should have nice photos hosted on imgur, but I can no longer see the pix in my post. Hmm ill have to take new pix and post them up anyway, I have gotten some new pieces since.
Everything is going very well. On the south coast here its been a really nice dry winter, quite mild with the temps on the coast too. Most of my things were new cuts... zero rot issues, everything seems to be rooted .- 3

Appreciate the brilliant information Glaukus. Cheers mang!

Oh is that it on the east coast, just those three mainly? cheers cristop.
Would you say the pix are likely longifolia then? -
So the pix you think are longifolia Glaukus?
I'm going to check the leaf litter for pods in the future, I'll google what a longifolia pod should look like. You wouldn't happen to have any references would you?
I know those broard phyllode acacias down the beach. I have one that naturally popped up in the yard... I'll get a pic of it later on. You legend, thx man.
So Longifolia aye, would others agree with Glaukus ID? -

"Galls are abnormal plant growths caused by various organisms (insects, mites, nematodes, fungi, bacteria, and viruses)."
Cheers Cumbrella, yeah I was under the impression that the seed pods may of been long and bean like, so these balls confused me... Even more so after I found that they were empty too...
p.s. You've got a rotten name mate... i love it. -
Hello fellow SABers,
On my recent expeditions around the local area I have spotted manyyyy beautiful wattles in full bloom.
I am hoping someone could please help me ID these stunning tree's. If you click on the pictures and view in maximum size they are massive and detailed.
Could be longfolia or sophorae or something else again? acuminata isn't on the east coast is it?:
I took those round ball/seed pod looking things home, cut them open and they had a cavity inside, but no seed? hmmm?
Location: Coastal NSW, about 4 hours south of Sydney
Flowering: In full bloom now (July, Winter). -

-Pasteurizing in quart jars (litre jars) is quite effective botanist
-Also you can do the 'pot in a pot' method... involves finding a large pot to fill with water, and a smaller pot (that will fit inside the larger one) for the substrate
-People have success pasteurizing in eskys too with freezer bags
-Even pillow case method..

What the heck man...? What are you trying to do, pasteurize a giant cauldron worth of shite? lol

If you ever have more put a listing up, or even a PM would be great
Seems the GT is quite a popular strain for viewing under the scope. Thx anyway.

if they are clean and viable of course mate... about $20 each in fact.
I might be interested in a GT print (for microscopy) too Dozer if you have fresh clean viable ones available?
Cheers,
Skellum.

Shroomite,
I get my coir from pet stores. Coir thats aimed toward like reptile terrariums & whatnot (pet enclosures) is not treated with trichoderma.
Other bunnings brands have fungicides too... you wanna get the pet terrarium coir mate.
Heres some pix of the product I use:
I get it from a pet store called 'Fins, Fangs & Feathers'
I'm sure you'll find the same brand or other similar products at other pet stores like 'Pet Barn' etc.
Good luck mate.
May the force be with you.- 2

Hey Botanist,
I'm sure you already know about Aussie Mushroom Supplies.
There is another website, New Generation Mushroom Supplies, the layout is literally identical though. I think they are both run by the same owner.
http://www.newgenerationmushroomsupplies.com.au/index.php?route=product/category&path=101
or
http://www.aussimushroomsupplies.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=101^Might be of some use,
looks like the selection is slim at the moment. Other times I've checked these sites out they have had HEAPS of various edible mushroom spores & cultures. -
Wowow lucky you Pedro...
If you can propagate and expand those clones mate, I reckon they would be worth a PRETTY PENNY in your parts of the world.
Grats man, I received two cuts from Jeans last week. Been slack with the feedback. Will get to it shortly.
I love this clone
Tryptophan, is there differences?

Hello fellow SABers & myco enthusiasts.
I was wondering, If a mate of mine wanted to start adding Tryptophan to substrates, would a product aimed toward horses be no worse than a product aimed toward humans?
Here is the equine product: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tryptophan-Powder-for-Horses-1KG-/301917770249?epid=714386116&hash=item464bb39209:g:BHIAAOSwZ8ZXANRt
Here is the human product: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/L-Tryptophan-Powder-908g-sleep-aid-weight-loss-FREE-WORLD-SHIPPING/152447930547?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
I've read that L-Tryptophan is the stuff that is needed, and that maybe it comes in two isomers (L & D).
I'm wondering if that horse Tryptophan (even though it doesn't have L- in front of it) is it the same, or just as effective as the L-tryptophan from the other link? Dosage seems to be in similar range for horses as humans.
Also while I'm on the topic, does anyone know of any good places they recommend for pharmaceutical grade L-Tryptophan? $80ish a kg seems to be around the best we've seen.
