Yeah I went out yesterday and found some very promising places. Found several Pans but they appeared to be inactive, black spores but no bruising at all
Definitely need to get down close to the ground! I will try the same area again when it is less busy

Lol. I am going tomorrow, for sure. More good rain here now.
I've been on google maps looking for cows/horses in fields Got a few places to check out.

Haha, he meant golden tops.
I still haven't been out yet Might need to wait for the next rains to come.

I always liked the Trichocereus name, refused to say the E word ☺
Very interesting about the sub-species of macro.
-
Wow, beautiful - you found both!
I'm going out tomorrow, inspired

To me they have a kind of spice, resin, incense scent - reminds me of some deodorants/aftershaves. Not a really strong smell, but noticeable when rubbed or crushed.

Does look like Calea. Mine are putting out crazy new growth right now.
Rub the leaves, see if they have a nice fragrance

I tried cold strat and a few other things but no luck.
Yeah I bet you will have better luck from your own seed.
It's good to get an affinity or bond with a plant, it makes growing them easier I think!
I love the Solanaceae's so Latua will be well worth the effort.

Still looking for any cool cuts, even small pieces! Love any blue sacred cactus, bridge or pach clones.
I have some Datura plants and seeds available at the mo. Also got lots of other plants and seeds or $$$

I went out today looking for a good spot. Found a few horse paddocks and what looked like Pan cyans a few metres away - wasn't game to jump the fence though, too conspicuous!

Yeah, looking good in QLD now. Would love to go sub hunting though. I think I might take a trip south for Winter!

Sunny coast should be awesome about now Have you had any luck going into winter?
I have heard people say April is the last month but I think cubes can be found all year in QLD.

That is strange, maybe the farmer flips 'em before they flush Bit crazy though. Yeah the cubes will find a way!
If I get time I am going out hunting tomorrow.

Withania
Anadenanthera colubrina / Cebil
Mimosa scabrella
Hey mate
I can send you Withania seed. I don't have any Cebil at the moment, only Yopo - probably not good for your climate.

I know, it's so worth the wait to find a decent patch

Hi MaccaAu
Well it's still fun to find any mushrooms I think.
Yeah this rain is what we needed. I will probably go out in the next day or two!
-
A bit late but I'm keen if you didn't end up planting them all.
Cheers

Whoa, what's the huge non-active one?
I bet someone beat you to the others. Hope we get proper rain soon

Hey SAB people, newb here. Would love named or known strong cuts to get a patch growing.
I have a few cactus but I think some may be 'PC'. I'd really like to invest my time in plants with a good reputation!
Have ethno and edible/permaculture plants/seeds for trade - or $$$ if you prefer.
Cheers
