Thanks Mater B. The plants love being under the solar weave (about 15%), they get plenty of sun but the weave takes the bite out of it. Fairly certain it is a variegate, have been watching it from the start, where it was a pinky colour to start with and once potted up it is starting to show the variegate better.

Scop. Here is a myrtillocactus crest that I grafted a while back, getting a nice blue and starting to take off!

Here are a few of my werd op, most probably from another seed pod? A few others from the secret garden. These two Len op look different to each other, starting to get that Len blue

Very cool MasterB! It is nice when they surprise you and show a interest in what you do. My girls give me heaps over my cactus, yet they have their label on their favourite plant which changes like me. The youngest loves to help in the hot house and the eldest not so much, but shocked me when she said go and check your terscheckii! To get me out of her hair, haha so she does listen Edit: Forgot to say Happy Fathers Day!

Thanks for the heads up Zed! Will find something for the top of it I am sure.

http://www.australianperlite.com/our-company/ This place seems a commercial supplier for vermiculite, perlite, pumice. They might deal direct. Bonsai suppliers might have akadama if you ring around.

Noticed a new edition is starting to pup "Lorraine". Peres is starting to pump again and the trichos are on the starting blocks getting ready to go! Go the Aussies in Rio!!!

Got 15 packs of these seeds (Terscheckii MN0531) and with almost zero germination, I was lucky enough to get one going! He was grafted and failed, then re-grafted to a small dodgy stock, he was dehydrated and on his last legs but pulled through and now is coming along nicely!
