Hi Folks
Could someone help with a definitive identification for this species.
Found in the heart of the Nambucca valley 5 km from the coast in National park (mostly re-growth after fire a about a decade ago).
Sample taken 2 days ago
Some have tentatively identified this as Obtusifolia...(which would be nice to know as there is a lot of it growing )
kind regards,

Thanks heaps...
That makes a lot of sense...have only this morning noticed some little roots appearing on the surface of the soil, so will repot today (was worried that too much repotting too soon might be a little 'traumatic').
I'm near Coffs Harbour so the winter is not too cold...It's mostly chily wind coming off the ranges and the sea. If or when it drops below about 12 degrees (overnight that is) I might bring here inside maybe.
cheers

Hi Folks,
My first post here- I have just recently (2 weeks ago) received my baby Caapi and she looks a little dry around the leaves. I don't have the greenest of thumbs' so any help regarding potting, soil, conditions, etc would be most appreciated.
Re-potted with premium potting mix and bark for drainage, I have her outside in a sheltered, shaded spot.
attached are some pictures.
thanks in advance,
