  1. Hello Kadakuda, i am on the nearest island from you (Okinawa) and i think that there are interesting local plants that you could use but be careful to not plant anything too invasive if you dont want having to fight with your neighboors (don't plant Alpinia zerumbet for example) ;) Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) would be nice as a ground cover, i found it as a cute weed in a garden there, it is nice looking, grows easily and you can eat it (delicious when fresh, you can put it in salad or make a refreshing drink). Just check what the taiwanese plant in your area against typhoon and for shadow. I think that there is important coffe production in Taiwan, what trees are used for protecting the young coffee plants, etc. I'm sure anadenanthera trees would do great there. Kratom would require a little care at the begining but once established i'm sure it would do great too, it is very hardy. For the Psychotrias, just don't plant specimens that are too young. A VERY good idea would be to delimitate your parcel with rows of vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides): it is non invasive (infertile), protect against erosion, retains rain water from escaping and allows good irrigation when it rains (not only on the surface: it has very long roots), it guards against flooding too, it detoxifies the soil and water, looks nice, the root smells heavenly, have a myriad of uses and on top of that your neighbour's crops will improve since they will beneficy from a better irrigation as well ! (check it: http://www.vetiver.com/)

    Put yourself in this scenario

Cacao is a classic ! A vanilla bean would be great too. Chamomille flowers are fungus friendly (Matricaria recutita) and very soothing (i've heard it could amplify the show but i've yet to confirm that).

    Raising and caring for frogs.

I love the singing of frogs, it reminds me of indonesian gamelan music... A good plant for purifying the water is the vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) it smells good and deters mosquitoes. I've heard cats hate the smell of oranges, maybe you can drop some orange essential oil in cups around your property or disseminate orange peels to keep them at bay. I remember how beautiful were the toads in the Amazon forest and how weird it was, when i came back in Europe, to see those same toads bored to death in little terrariums...

Why you should NOT smoke Salvia divinorum!

I did remember (with Sally's help of course) what the quidding experience remind me of: Banisteriopsis caapi without additives. Those two plants shares something, i find the same tonality in the visuals and there is a kind of warm "personnality,( tropical ladies for sure ! ) that i find absent from the smoke experience. It is not a question of intensity or speed, low doses of smoked Salvia aren't like low doses quids.

Why you should NOT smoke Salvia divinorum!

Interesting post ! By the way, mutant, quidding works with dried leaves too. Welcome to the bitter world of oral Salvia

Why you should NOT smoke Salvia divinorum!

i agree, the quid experience is very different from the smoking one...but it is very difficult for me to put it in words. More gentle and peaceful, more visually comparable to indole substances.

are you speaking about sclerotia or fruitbodies ? Sclerotia aren't as potent.

    Final Flush for 2009

For those who went to Mexico or Amsterdam (when it was legal), did you find some differences in the experience with Mexicana, compared to other psilocybes ? Since my amazonian experiences, my mushroom travels became very similar as the Ayahuasca experience, so it's difficult for me to say...but the P.mexicana Jalisco is strong, i would say as strong as the Copelandia species. Very rewarding and spiritual. Sorry for hijacking the thread !!!

    Final Flush for 2009

whisperz, aren't those P.mexicana strain A or B ? Here are two pictures (not mine) of the Jalisco strain: Psilocybe mexicana is a very strong mushroom, the fruitbodies are much more interesting than the sclerotia (and way more cute !).

    Dream suppressors

hum, but for me Kava and Chamomille are both great onirogens ! They don't suppress dreams at all, on the contrary. But it is still a good advice related to depression. Chamomille has strange properties related to the visionary compounds, i guess it should work with the endogenous one too

    Brazilian sepcial chacruna seeds

lol thanks for your generous offer...but i already have a "mini-forest" of Psychotria seedlings...too much ! i'm sure someone else will be interested, differents strains of Chacruna should circulate.

    Rubycon

after many years listening to this incredible record i am still amazed by the uniqueness and depth of it. Every time i'm listening to it it takes me to a different place, cosmic, dark, abyssal but always conforting like reentering the womb...there are similarities with a trip too. I had one experience (in Amsterdam so it was legal ) with Copelandiaa mushrooms and the Rubycon album. (let's just say that the magnitude of the experience was a surprise and to this day i've never been so far with any entheogen) At the (quick) onset of the experience i felt that something was wrong in the room (apart, of course, the strange beings and distortions everywhere). I kept searching what was wrong, looking everywhere, moving furnitures etc and then i found it: it was Rubycon playing. I had forgoten it was in the cd player, i couldn't hear it with my ears it wasn't a sound. It was an object in the room, like a chair or a table. I shutted it off and went back to bed where i melt in millions of worlds etc, but regulary i had to get up and shut the player off again...because i still felt the presence of the album in the room ! Weird...one my favorite piece of music. Any entheogenic experience with Rubycon to share ?

    Rubycon

Never listened to 'solar race' yet, i'm going to check thanks ! Yes phaedra is a great album too but different vibe. Tangerine dream lives must be something ! I don't know what kind of music they are doing now though, they changed a lot since the seventies, taking many musical turns.

    ╔╗╔═╦╗ ║╚╣║║╚╗ ╚═╩═╩═╝ but so true !
  21. pfff so they did a fake take off, a fake landing and all the people, staff and famillies involved in the project were all hypnotised ? And all the other missions, yes even the Appolo 13 catastrophe, were fake too ? I guess that the human brain produces endorphins when "discovering" paranoiak conspiracies...
