  1. Passive backseat demon engine, and Rev, how did the cops know you were growing weed?

If i knew the answer to that, i beleive the list i provided earlier in the thread would be a great deal longer. :slap:

As usual when it comes to weed, the poolice didnt seem overly concerned and almost missed my five best ladies. For me the whole ordeal wasnt a stress it was just the following twelve months that sucked arse. i mean if you are gonna grow, you gotta deal with the worst which is either getting ripped or pinched but i think thirteen plants in a suburban backyard might be pushing it.

Strange thing was that they didnt search my house, just the yard. I was thankful too cause the fuckers can make a mess.

funny that....... 13 plants, raided on the 13th, at 1pm-1300 hours. :scratchhead:

  2. Yeah i have had a few run ins with the poolice,

Three drug related matters - I dont grow weed anymore or use iv.

Two drink driving offences - I rarely drink now, although this was more out of concern for my health.

Three assault related matters - see above

It could have been worse if i had not made some sensible changes to my life, which at the time didnt seem like the best option, but in the long run these descisions saved me.

Many old friends werent so lucky, nor did they have the opportunities i had. Some are gone, some in jail, some debilitated by accidents and others i will never find again. There is one trend that i have noticed though, all the people i know that went inside at a young age seem to be stuck. What i mean is they go in and out, in and out all the time(for varying lengths of time of course), and for the most of them it doesnt bother them, or so they say. Yeah sure when they first get out they have all these plans.......that lasts a day or two, then the using begins(again). I guess what an old mate said is true but, "At least ya know where i'am, I m gettin a feed every day and a roof over me head, plus heaps of shit talkers to talk shit to. And yeah...white ox aint that bad mate"

  3. Is there any known way to decrease the effectiveness of a swab test? (fisherman's friends anyone?)

lol, yeah i have heard a few good ones....

    An onion. mmmmm tasty

Balsamic/red wine vinegar. not as tasty as the onion

    mouthwash.

i did hear that the "lollipop" tests were avaiable from chemists(can someone verify this). It is the same as the ones used buy the poolice, these would be good just to make sure before you drive. They are marketed at parents to test their children for drugs........ if only my parents had used this. :P

A friend that drives buses for a living(he gets tested regularly and must not have ANYTHING in his system) was told by an RTA official that even a heavy smoker will not give a positive after nine hours. He always waits nine hours and hasnt tested positive yet.

But if the fuckers want ya they will get ya.

  4. lol

A friend and myself had a concord dawn album playing at the same time as a pendulum album, it sounded awesome, everything seemed to fit together.

I guess it all depends on what you have eaten

  5. The teacher then asks little billy why he wasnt at school the day before

Billy replies, "my dad got burnt"

"oh dear, i hope he is ok" said the teacher, "well miss..." says billy, "they dont fuck around at the crematorium"

Anyone else got little billy tales.

  6. look at location 1 and 2 vs location #3

NE vic maidenii is likely to be different to nnsw and SE qld maidenii

Maidenii is found all teh way from Vic to proserpine, qld which is far above planthelper

along the way it morphs widely in its leaf forms and habit

    why not its alkaloid profile

Is A. maidenii really in NE vic?

or did you mean SE vic Rev?

I have heard there is more than just the few locations in the SE, and this plant is more widespread than originally thought. Any truth behind this?

  7. interesting. Sounds like those should be tasmaniana - sounds very interesting either way - damn i wish it would rain - id pay for a specimen of those!

We recieved a small sprinkling of rain recently, nowhere near enough, but enough to get me into those dark mountain valleys.

The area i find these psilos is in a well shaded valley so the tiny bit of rain we had may have produced something...... its worth a look.

It seems Melbournes season has slowed. I wandered through Authurs seat N.P. yesterday and they were few and far between although some of the specimens were absolute giants, massive, you could almost live in them.

  8. that is great news - got any specimens of these? Do they look like subs? Or are they quite different?

well, i havent got many specimens of anything this season  .

The psilocybes in question look like subs although the caps are usually a little darker caramel and the stem and cap a bit thicker than other subs from the same area, they do usually stain alot more than the others aswell.

A friend who picked one of the psilocybes about five years ago still goes on about how "black" the mushie went after he removed it from the roo poo.

  9. what a lovely neighbour, maybe you could donate a nice plant to her in return? maybe a brug or something else ornamental, looks like there's plenty of space around there.

    thats a gorgeous cacti :D

    nice one phleb!

Yeah i took her a C. peruvianus monstrose in return a few days later.

  10. Of the shit lovers:

    Ps.tasmaniana (possibly synonymous with subs)

Ps.unknown (blue staining found oin Mount Buffalo)

I occaisionally find active psilocybes growing directly from kangaroo or wallaby droppings. There is one area i know of in N.E. Vic where i see this more often than other spots though.....

i may have to look futher into this.

    Now.... where is that rain?

  11. Nice cactus too, does it flower?

She had heaps of flowers in late January/early feb.... I think.

My memory isnt that good, haha it is pretty shit actually. But yeah i think it had just finished flowering when i got the cuttings, which was late feb,

    i think.

  12. I finally got around to getting some pics of the cactus that lives up the road. The owner said she put it in the ground in 1988 and has never done a thing to it, not even water. I asked nicely and was granted three cuttings all over five foot long :) .

  13. Yeah iam gonig to repot, i was just wondering if i should let the dehydrated one dry a bit before i do this because it is saturated.(like most nusery cacti)

The larger of the two is fine and the soil is JUST damp, so he gets a new home straight away.

  14. On a family outing today i noticed a very small nusery just up the road and had to go check it out.

On the first stand as i walked in was heaps of tiny cacti all for $1 each, in amongst them i found these.

    post-1464-1149916564_thumb.jpg

The one on the right is a little sad, even though the soil is wet the the main part of it is severely dehydrated.

Would bare rooting and a bit of dry warm air remedy this problem, or something else?

These are my first tbm's so any help is greatly appreciated.

  15. Things arent looking good at all for any sort of fungal growth in the N.E..

I remember posting in the aussie finds thread "looks like this season is going to be awesome", I was gravely mistaken. I have said to a few friends that if we dont get another flush before the end of june I am gonna call "worst season ever". The early rains got things going really well in a few patches but since then there has not been a drop, even the first lot of rain harldy touched the buffalo/bright region.

I am heading to the mountain in the next week to check on some things so i will take a look around up a bit higher and see if there is any action........but i doubt there will be :(

this is the dryest Autumn/winter i can remember..

  16. You should be able to get them at a pharmacy somewhere. The pharmacys in the closest regional city to me mostly only have the small insulin syringes but one (soul pattison)has any size barrel you need and any size tip(needle), try one of their pharmacys if you can find one.

They are usually cheap too, under a dollar for a barrel and tip.
