Trichonopsis, has been done many times before. I have used a trichonopsis for breeding, crossed a pachanoi back into it and get ridiculous amounts of variegated growth in the offspring. The flowers of the trichonopsis i used are absolutely stunning, ya should give it a crack Mr. caapi.

I think some of the cuzco plants look really nice, the top pic of macs is a really nice one. The colours of the spines when they are young, going from almost black through to a honey yellow looks cool although when they get older and all the spines below the tip are that crappy white colour it sorta loses its appeal for me. They are a tricho though, gotta get em all

Sounds like you are picking off a scab that has occurred due to spine damage hence the long stalk thing going into the flesh. I have seen this alot and it doesnt necessarily mean there is a spine still in there just a sore/scab that travels into the flesh. As for healing black rot, i have found that making a few small incisions with a razor or the like thru the skin helps to heal them/dry them out. This usually works if i see any smaller spots on TBMs. I havent really tried it on any big "infections" on larger plants due to the fact my plants very rarely get it here and if they do they have healed by themselves rather fast so i usually disregard it.

May i ask where ya got it? I have seen some for sale on ebay listed as pach x scop "super pedro". Interested to know it the seller actually grew them from pach x scop seed and is calling it super pedro or if it is actually the clone commonly known by many here as super pedro.

Each flower should have loads of pollen as long as ya get to it before the bees etc do. I usually get a paintbrush (the one i got atm is about as fat as my thumb but smaller works fine also) and brush the anthers, you will see a crap load of pollen fall off onto the petals below. It is then easy to brush the pollen into a piece of foil for collection. Using cotton buds etc doesnt seem to collect enough for good pollination ime. Like most things though, fresh is best Nuthn beats mashin that stigma into a pile of fresh pollen.

Well mine morphs alot like i said but i think it is strangebrew that has large plants aswell and he said his rarely morphs, i think it was SB anyways. The "melted wax" clone of revs is apparently bruce so yeh semi monstrose id guess youd say.
