Im keen to see how people go about finding those "grooves" within their mind....especially consciously activated (without entheogenas for support) I think the reductionist view and holistic-spiritual view have a juction, where you are consciously aware of yourself as a spiritual being aswell as a biomechanical robot. When you start to have these realisations, you begin to develop your higher circuitry. These are neurological processes that link in with your energy body. But for insomniacs n the like, this could be lifesaving. What im interested is the part of function of the brain that instigates the thing we call "I" or the illusion of this kind of control. I know that while I am dreaming im conscious or in control to a certain extent, yet i cannot pinpoint me or "I". I remember quite a lot of dreams and their elements. Something will be taking place in a more or less "real" way and then ive dissolved into another absurd situation but "I" find it quite plausable. Who is in control here?? It seems while sleeping, causal or rational reasoning is not needed to produce a coherent reality. I can float from situation to situation as absurd as they may be and it all make perfect sense. Its a different kind of freedom but the "I" is shadowed from real self reflection.....is this the thing that makes me ME?

Red Head, i dont think its too humid for your TBM...ive got em growing here in SEQ in a humid location an there doin fine. What ive found they like is a much sun as you can give em (der), a normal cactus mix and a dilute liquid (seeweed) fertilise every 2-4 weeks, if thats all too obvious....try somewhere with a bit more airflow. As for watering_like tonic said, water when the mix appears dry and water around the cactus. I forget when ive watered sometimes "if in doubt, dont water" is my little moto... Although i dont think anyone should get too caught up in worrying about conditions, theyre bloody hardy things.

I ahve the solution, we'll all become foresters and cabinet makers....and fill the land with trees and furniture! seriously though does cut wood store carbon effieciently? the carbon produced in making fertilisers that are put onto plantation lands must surely offset any benefits? otherwise you'd think, just plant fast growing species and put all the wood in a big cool shed somewhere for say a few thousand years or something.

not native but who cares? were here now, someone can move it if they like. i got heaps of clones coming up in the last coupleof months, if you plant the whole leaf you'll get one...but if you cut the leaf in half and plant the top you'll get one or two from each vein! you gotta get to know how much light and water they want.....but yeah heat and humidity is the key.

Yeah why not! its not as if its gonna become some monster weed or anything.... I dont recommend you put vermiculite into your mix as its shrivels and makes the mix less porous, use perlite and coco peat 50/50 or whatever (i dont like using sand). Sprinkle your seed over the top of your mix, then shake a thin layer or vermiculite over the top just covering your seed. if you keep the seed around 20 degrees they'll come up fine fresh seed is always the best. But be patient some rainforest plant seed does take a little while.

I might buy an electric pushy.... sounds like a pretty easy solution to many problems. instead of trying to produce the same amount of kilojoules from crops that we get from fossil fuels, just lessen the need for those kj.
