  1. Hello all I was just wondering what religion everyone follows if any. Personally I believe that our conciousness evolves to the point of pure energy if allowed to properly develop. Ghosts are just evolved energies. When we die we enter another realm inwhich we are one with electricty. Its hard to explain but im really still developing it in my mind. I just see this as the only possible way of life after death within the scientific realm.

    Cannabis harvesting

Sorry If im repeating anyones advice but I cbf reading the entire 4 pages of posts. First Id like to say those plants look real nice. What strain are they? I've had a fair bit of experience in the weed growing buisness but after my landlord busted one of my crops on an inspection I've had to put it off until I move out again. Gotta hate living with parents! I'll give you a few tips I've learnt from trial and error. First of flushing: Hydroponically grown plants use alot of chemicals which arent partically good to smoke and also clog up the stems with nute impeeding plant growth. You'll notice if you flush them properly that after drying the plants stems will be hollow. Flushing will not only get rid of all those nasty chemical that you don't want but will also give a surprising boost to plant growth. More bud will appear during flushing than any other stage of growth. Its best to flush in the last 1-2 weeks of growth replace all your resevior with clean water. If your using tap water make sure its filtered which you should be using the entire grow (they hate chlorine). Just feed them water only and keep an eye on the plants crystals surrounding the buds (Trichomes I think thats how its spelt anyway). When you start noticing them beginning to turn from white to yellow/browny colour that is the best time to rip. Its alot easier to manicure before drying once they've dried out the leaves crumble and you end up leaving excessive amounts of stem. Second Drying and curing: I found its best to dry in a cool well ventalated area with as minimal light as possible on mesh. In aus you can get specially desighned rask that are all mesh allowing optimum airflow alternativly you can grab a flyscreen and lye it down with each end on a chair so that it is suspended. Don't make piles of bud as the buds at the middle may get mould. After about 2 weeks they should be dry and crispy. Now time to cure (optional) get some airtught jars and put your buds inside them filling them about 1/4 to 2/3 full depending on how much bud and jars you have. Leave them in the jars out of light for 8-12 weeks opening the jars and juggling the buds around once a week. Make sure the jars are airtight tho get the ones with the orange seals. The last part about the jars doesn't have to be done but it does add a little THC content and makes your buds last longer. Thirdly HASH: Your offcuts can be make into hash just pick out the leaves that have trichomes on them and the little buts of but that have come apart from the rest and put them into a bowl. Wait until they have dried using the same drying method as the buds. Then once dried put them in the freezer overnight in a bowl this will make the trichomes brittle. Then get a 47T silkscreen mesh and lightly work your "scuff" as it is called over the mesh. Be as gentle as possible the more time and care you take the better quality the hash will be. I find using a mirror under the mesh to catch what falls thru is best. You should notice a pile of whiteish yellow powder forming under the screen on you mirror this is called "polm" Gather this up it should be 10-15% of the weight of the scuff you started with depending on the scuff quality and put it into a celophane packet like the plastic wrapper around a ciggi packet. Pack it tightly into it then fold up the celo and seal it with celo tape. Wrap this package thickly in newsprint paper and drench the paper. Put this package into the oven at 180 degrees C for 5-10 minutes then withdraw the package and pit it on a hard surface like granite or a tile and with a rolling pin roll and roll and roll and roll and roll and roll and roll and roll and roll and roll making sure to keep even pressure along the package use as much force as possible. You can rewet the package and repeat the process if you wish and it does help. Once your finished rolling place the package in the fridge for a couple of hours then unwrap you lovely hash. Hope I was some help and not too late. Happy smoking..... Sigh wish I could still hit the Damn Psychosis Greeny out

Not something I would wish on anyone. Especially all the weed smokers out their its hard to say goodbye to that old friend.

  11. Personally as a mechanic Im againast hybrid transport. Yes agreed it is more efficient but damn im gonna have to learn a whole bunch more components. Its hard enough keeping up with todays truck components yet alone the addition of hybrid ones. Personally switching to alternative fuels like PROPER Biodiesel (none of that fryer crap) and ethanol/methanol is to me the answer. When you think of the fact that the modifications required for biodiesel aren't that extreme and agreed the mods for ethanol are a bit more excessive but still achievable it makes more sense to make the switch. High compression is the key with ethanol and that can be easily obtained with a supercharger or turbocharger. I bet all my fellow hoons would agree with that. To modify an existing petrol burning engine to ethanol requires some cylinder boring and a ring change. Im sure with mass production of current and older model car kits this would be easily affordable. Think about it in the eyes of farmers they need a helping hand and I beliece alternative fuel crops are the answer. Switchgrass is easy to grow and would be well suited to australian conditions as far as I know. Down with Hybrid!

Thats it im buying a VN-VS 5 Litre 5 speed getting a 355 stroker kit and a vortex supercharger. A bunch of plastic hosing, a new gasket kit and talking to my machine shop mate. Im gonna have the greenest street machine in aus. I'll try and get a licence plate "GREENY" aswell. Oh and paint it green. The second I get my commodore paid of anyways. Come on overtime don't let me down now!
  15. Heya All Im just posting this for everyones info. Im a desiel mechanic and being so I've seen my fair share of trucks stuffed by biodeisel. Sure its proberbly fine in warmer states but when It hits colder regions it seperates into 2 parts 1 part liquid 1 part sludge. Guess where the sludge ends up at the bottom right near the pick up. Clogs the filters and then you ain't goin nowhere. One night I had to go on a call out and change the filters 6 times in order to get the truck back to the workshop where I was able to clean the crappy biodeisel out and replace it with proper desiel. This just goes to show some alternative fuels are a long way from sufficient Greeny out

I got a few questions: How expensive is ethanol currently in aus per litre? Where in melbourne can I get this ethanol? Are their laws which prohibit me from running a straight ethanol vehicle on the roads? If not can i run Methanol lawfully instead? Cheers

    Bio Deisel

Perhaps a BD kit should be made available to australian truckers. I will try to seriously talk about this with the guys at work especially the engineers. If you think about it BD usable truck engines could only boost Detroit Diesel Series 60 sales which. That in turn means more OT for me Horray. Also I am proud to announce MTU DDA is well in line for the new wave of emission laws set to come in soon with their new EGR (Exhast Gas Respiration) Engines. Go Detroit Diesel

  23. Naja I used to gut cows for a living and I can tell you they don't smell to flash either. But they taste good It has been proven that the only sustainable meat in australia in the terms of what our land can cope with is Kangaroo and Crocodile the later being harder to farm. Kangaroo taste awesome I think but imagine the fences you would need on your farm!
  24. If he works for the CIA it would explain a hell of alot. Also would raise the question why would he be on a plant forum. WS Im sure their are plenty of good conspiracy forums where your words might have more weight.... Just a suggestion

Crop litres ethanol/ha US gal/acre Miscanthus 14031 1500 Switchgrass 10757 1150 Sweet Potatoes 10000 1069 Poplar Wood (hybrid) 9354 1000 Sweet Sorghum 8419 900 Sugar Beet 6679 714 Sugar Cane 6192 662 Cassava 3835 410 Corn (maize) 3461 370 Wheat 2591 277 So why would you use corn? All info taken from Www.Wikipedia.com Seems to me that their are far better crops to use And it is entirely possible to modify current engines to run on 100% ethanol as i stated in my Biodeisel thread. Agreed the modifications are not exactly a cheap option BUT if you consider that an engine would be completely recondidtiond in the process it makes it an option to buy a second hand car at say $10g spend another $10g and bam a car that will last you and the environment a long time. We could also think of using ethanol as a helping hand to our farmer buddies making it a far more viable to be a farmer.
