    Being a member of DoTerra I get the highest quality lavender essential oil from France.
    Totally drops you if you have enough. In lower doses it just seems to relax and sedate you slightly.

    If I am correct Linalool is responsible for NMDA receptor action and GABA action.

    I personally do not like lavender that much though but these studies do not suprise me at all.

    I found it interesting that deactivation of certain brain regions actually meant a lot.

    In meditation when the brain rests and just functions efficiently and coopratevly without strain im sure certain regions deactivate a bit and let other neural circuts light up more.

    Now my question is, what if we litterally destroyed those parts of the brain? Would we be stuck in a non dual state with no mental chatter?

    And also, what about DMT? Is it the same effect on the brain as mushrooms?

    The third eye chakra meditation can lead to psychedelic imagry and visions. You can also have OBEs which definitely can be psychedelic.

    When you let the darkness behind your eyelids turn pitch black and envelope your whole head then body.. Youll start having a trip of kinds. I use to do it all the time in pitch black darkness.

    I definitely believe magic mushrooms can put you in the same place.

    I just nodded off for a good while and found myself in sleep paralysis (without fear) and thought it would be cool to have an OBE experience.

    I imagined holding a cord to my stomache and being pulled up at about 10 - 15 kmph and i was out!

    I actually had multiple (say 5 - 6) differant OBEs because i kept coming back to my paraylyzed body.

    The last experience i had i decided to just let myself fall into the darkness and it was like deep meditation.. Soo peaceful. And there was a bunch of heavenly sounds.

    Ive never had an OBE experience this good before.

    Anybody else got cool ideas for OBEs or experiences they want to share?

    I do not know much about growing cacti, but i am going to start growing soon.

    Ive bought a bridgessi and am looking for tips on treating it well.

    Some questions i have are.. How should i make the soil? I have perlite and am going to get shapagnum moss and good soil aswell as coir.

    Should i use a fertilizer, if so what should i use? Should i use something like osmocote?

    And any general tips would be greatly appreciated.
