Last year I grew a few Aubergine plants in my backyard vegie patch.
They developed into beautiful fruit that just begged to be eaten.
That is until they were cut open, only to expose a dirty, shit filled tunnel, which was the calling card of the "Eggfruit Catterpillar". None were spared.
They also got into my Capsicums to a lesser degree.
I've searched for an effective way to control these pests, but have not as yet, come across anything specific. They talk about hygiene and such, (dur), but not how to specifically control these grubs.
I've thought about Rotenone, but that is more about controlling a caterpillar on the plant, not in the plant.
I'd rather go organic if possible but am open to suggestions.
Any advice is well appreciated.
