Dandelion foraging in oz...any pointers?
-RC- replied to gtarman's question in Plant Identification (non-cactus)
^ this. and an awesome book I can recommend you is The Weed Forager's Handbook by Adam Grubb and Annie Raser-Rowland. https://www.bookdepository.com/Weed-Foragers-Handbook-Adam-Grubb/9781864471212 -
I would've assumed that the whole sativa : indica stuff might be an easier way to express the cannabinoid profile of any given strain, in that indica is usually more CBD heavy, whilst sativa tends to be higher in THC.

I have found it hard to reconcile the 'carrot' element of many religious frameworks, or in other words the spiritual materialism exhibited by many religious ideologies of the world. "If you do x, y and z, and don't do a, b, c then you get (insert carrot statement here)" The carrot might be eternal life, forgiveness, reincarnation in a 'better' life, etc. It's an oversimplification I know, but isn't it true that at the end of the day, if there was no carrot, you probably wouldn't 'follow' x religion?

Abuse Of Power In Ceremonies That Use Psychoactive Substances
-RC- replied to mysubtleascention's topic in Chill Space
Whenever money enters into the spiritual realm its material nature cannot help but taint that experience to some degree, no matter how small. They are codependent, in that the spiritual is the yin to the material's yang. Complete sincerity in deed is therefore less common nowadays when compared to the past. We as a species have become so much more materialistic, so that the spirit as motivating factor for communion and brotherhood amongst mankind is placed further and further into the distance. This is also why when we encounter those that embody nobility of spirit and sincerity of deed it is so powerful. As Lao Tzu said, "Best to look for it in you!" or something... and from reset.me http://reset.me/story/20-safety-tips-for-participating-in-ceremonies-that-use-psychoactives/ -
Don't get me wrong, I'm not confident. I just know governments are money hungry bastards, and this is the biggest cash cow in the world. It's more mathematics really. I can see the snow falling is all, and on this slippery slope the chances of a snowball are fucking huge $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'm just glad WA's Health minister stated that all Australian governments are strongly opposed to the recreational use of cannabis. Glad because bitch gunna eat her hat in less than 2 years time. Just saying...

Depends on how much rain you've had I guess, but it still feels a wee bit cool, and the humidity feels way too low. Could be wrong though, good luck!

That's too bad Vicotria. You missed the fucking boat. If they had've had the balls their state would be the first cash cow state in the country. Ah well, I reckon either SA or ACT will be the first to go all out in the impending money grab, but I could be wrong. What I would bet on happening is at least one state in Australia playing a far more 'relaxed' version of this before 2017. The race is on now, and you watch the sluts fall over each other to get to the finish line with the cannabis cash cow first. The Government will begin a cultivation trial at a Victorian research facility which is overseen by the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources. The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources will also be given new regulatory functions to license growers to cultivate cannabis for the purpose of medicinal cannabis. Fuck your conditions Victorian Labour; too little, too early. You just gave all the other states a running start. Disgusting and gutless, but hopefully those who need it urgently don't get arrested before jumping through your ridiculous hoops. The clock is ticking now... because money does grow on trees. They don't give a shit about your pain or my pain. Lets not kid ourselves. edit: The Government accepts the Commission’s recommendation to establish an independent medical advisory committee on medicinal cannabis which will provide advice about expanding eligibility to further patient groups. Ah, there's the fast forward button. Sorry missed that.

Is it in stillness? Also, I think I saw a doco on that once And also 'treatments'? It will be nice when the day comes that the West doesn't perceive 'abnormal' states of consciousness as something other than a name to throw some pills at.

Thanks for the seeds and the mushroom chat mate. From what I've seen your a respected trader and a wealth of knowledge too. Your departure is a loss to this forum. Cheers.

Glad to hear your parting of ways has taken an amicable turn for the good. That stuff is big enough, without all of the other shit you are wading through. Hopefully your hearts can start to mend despite all of the rest of it. Good luck.

Peat pellets and then amended potting mix I reckon. I've got one of those Brunnings coir bricks sitting there for seedling purposes, but I've decided to keep it for part of a bulk substrate when the time comes. Just felt a bit too restrictive to me
