Brug. leaves wilting on the ends.
Idon'tstudydinosaurs replied to Idon'tstudydinosaurs's topic in Ethnobotany
I have all my plants out the front where the dog can't get them. If the pellets don't work I might have to put them into the greenhouse. -

Good old AeroGarden. Not just for growing herbs. Also good for emerging datura, brugs and khat -

Haha cheers for all your help. Fingers crossed. If I replant the bottom half of the loph. that I used as the scion, will it heal and grow? -

If I had pantyhose in the house I would use it but unfortunately the other half doesn't wear them and I'm not into cross dressing so pantyhose is out of the question. Perhaps I'll get the missus to buy some for next time if this one doesnt work out. What will happen if it doesn't work? Will it just shrivell and dry? How long until I know it has worked? Cheers. -

Red and Green Khat growing
Idon'tstudydinosaurs replied to Idon'tstudydinosaurs's topic in Ethnobotany
Thanks alot IndigoSunrise. We dont have frosts luckily. I would love to plant them in the ground but we move around alot so I'll have to stick to big pots, they're only a couple inches tall at the moment so they have a bit of growing to do -
Hi all, I've just got some Khat and just wanted to ask some questions. I live down south [Hopetoun] and it doesn't get very hot [we have maximums of 20 at the moment]. Should I be worried about the cold? Should I put them into a greenhouse? And when I repot them what medium/porting mix is best? cheers.

Emu Export, that's a bit extravagant. More like mineral turps and a petrol soaked rag. Depends on what suburb your in. PLENTY of shamans here. You made me laugh very hard.

Thank you both. I have removed the corky covering. Might try the zip lock bag idea and see how that goes! Ob, I have heard it can take months but I didn't want to believe it. I'm terribly impatient! -
Help with WA plants laws.
Idon'tstudydinosaurs replied to Idon'tstudydinosaurs's topic in Legal Matters
Thank you all. They couldn't simply make laws easy to understand, that would be too hard. Got to keep lawyers in a job I guess. -

Hi all, I'm in W.A. [Living 600 km south for work at the moment but i get to Perth most months]. I have been interested in ethnobotany for a while and its only now that I found a community like this to help me on my quest! I plan to go back to uni next year to finish my science degree [emphasis on botany, history] as a mature age student. Looking for fellow perthians to help me out Cheers.
