Change yes they can hunt at night when it is warm enough. I have never been attacked by one during the day or night but have been around plenty of them. Just give them some space and they will leave you alone

Gtarman there are a few fermented chilli sauce recipes online. I have been making it for the last few months, it's easy and delicious. Tobasco sauce is actually fermented aswell

I can't pick a favourite, but if you like habaneros then you should try some bahamian goat peppers. They are good

Happy birthday man

It doesn't take much time to maintain one or two aquariums. I have four set up at the moment and it only takes less than an hour or so per week to keep them healthy and looking good. But be careful because I find it as addictive as collecting cactus. You should stop before it is too late haha

Happy birthday!

I have some spare java fern and java moss I can send you if you want it. I am not sure how they go in cold water, but they are really tough and hard to kill in a tropical tank

Hey guys I have some spare painted mountain corn seeds if anyone wants to grow some. I have a fair few but don't really have the time to organise and send out alot of parcels at the moment. Would anyone be interested in distributing them? Ofcourse you get to keep as many of them as you want to grow aswell. The only condition is that I expect to see photos of your corn posted here eventually Cheers

I recently trimmed mine right back, but if you can't find any decent cuttings I can send you some of the older growth that is still left

Love you olive. My brother from another mother

One of my friends has been growning these for the last couple of years in north qld. He pretty much treats them the same as lophophora but adds a bit more drainage material to the soil mix and waters them a bit less than his lophs aswell. They just flowered recently so must be pretty happy

I usually just scrub them off with an old toothbrush whenever i repot. They don't seem to cause much damage. I have also dipped the root system in metho for a few seconds then rinsed with water and that kills em good

I haven't tried grinding any, but the young fresh kernels are not too bad I suppose. Ofcourse it doesn't taste like sweet corn though
