i took a drill to one of mine about 45mins ago. i expected the hole to look a lot bigger but its actually not that noticable unless your staring straight down at it. two questions: 1. what sort of time frame am i looking at before it starts to pup? its was labled as a pach when i bought it but im fairly sure its a scop 2. aside from keeping clear of water, what sort of precautions do i need to take to avoid rot/infection at the top? thanks

i am interested in giving this a go but an 8mm drill bit sounds like an awfully big hole to be putting in the top of one of my babies. has anyone done this? will a smaller hole suffice?

have a look at the bottle. you dont want to buy absinth that is coloured artificially, they are cheap nasty imitations. if it says under ingredients colouring E102-E131 or E102-E133 (or something along those lines) look for another absinth. those absinths taste nasty, dont louche properly and wont give you any chance at understanding what its all about. chech out www.feeverte.net for more info

it might be a good idea to do multiple sterilisations a couple of days apart, as you would if sterilising with a normal saucepan. thats just a guess from what ive read though, i dont have much experience with that type of sterilisation.

dont get lazy/impatient when reducing to a syrup, youll understand when you taste it. the less liquid you have to drink the better

my FOAF could never fall asleep on anything else, especially not LSD. it seems to be something that is restricted to mushrooms

AFOAF has, on occasion been known fall asleep during mushroom trips although usually only on smaller doses <2g dried. when he does he has the most vivid, crazy dreams. this only happens when he starts the trip feeling tired anyway though.
