im exactly one week away from turning 23, im not really big into birthdays but will be going to see concord dawn with a couple of friends. for the past ~5 years ive been employed in hospitality wokring my way from nightclub bussy to cocktail bartender. im loving the work at the moment and the lifestyle suits me but i plan to be out of the industry before i turn 30. im looking into returning to study next year, most likely year 12 chemistry or equivelant so i can later apply for the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University. i am passionate about being outdoors. for my birthday im buying myself a new hybrid bike which i will fully kit out for touring so i can make the most of having a 3 day weekend every fortnight. im also keen on hiking, particularly around the alpine areas of victoria. ive recently started indoor rock climbing (love the free bouldering walls at burnley!) and am thinking about joining the VCC or a uni club to go on trips to arapiles/grampians. if i had the money i would head to queenstown, NZ and spend a couple of weeks learning to skydive but unfortunately there are more important places for my money to go. when the weathers nice i love to get outside with my poi, staff or juggling gear. occasionally i make a vague attempt to progress with the meteor but it usually ends with bruises. for down time i love to draw, read, tend to my cacti & plants and occasionally knit. i will and do read pretty much anything but i have a strong interest in mountaineering non-fiction, nature & ecology and gay/lesbian/transgender studies. forgot to add music tastes. i love nothing better than getting away and having a stomp barefoot to any type of psy but i work weekends and so it doesnt happen as much as i would like. i like dub, DnB, psy, electro, classical strings/piano but will listen to pretty much anything if its good.

not sure as to an id but i certainly wouldnt be eating them -
i awoke this morning to the sound of heavy rain on my window and couldnt wipe the grin off my face. after the rain on tuesday and the significantly more substantial rain today the next few days should see prolific fruiting! oh and i agree with morg about the photo pd, its almost too beautiful to eat

id say its still a bit early for subs in most of melbourne but earlier this week there were definately some subs around inner(ish) and and outer eastern suburbs. there was a dramatic increase in the number of different species around after the weekends rain so fingers crossed we get some more soon
-
i found a handful of tiny subs on an exploratory stroll around a suburban uni on monday, didnt have a camera to take any pics unfortunately. most of the places i found them last year are still far too dry, its just this one patch that is off to an early start.

kind of like the 'speed' brand energy drinks.

traditional absinthes actually contain quite low levels of thujone - usually well below the current allowance. its seems that very little survives the distillation process. no authentic absinthe should contain anywhere near 100mg
-
i must have skipped past the id request because id remember seeing such a beautiful specimen, count me in
-
what would you like to trade it for? other books, plants, herb, seeds?
-
i was willing to try beating $95 because i got a lot more tax $$ back than i was expecting and have been looking for something nice to treat myself to, but $150 is out of my league
-
ill bid $60 on the third lot
-
check out funky fungus, there are some pach's on there for $1/cm. ive bought cacti there before and was very happy with the specimens i recieved
-
not sure but it looks great! if you sort out the paint dilemma id love to commision one
-
apparently so, and on a slightly more exciting note. my smallest ELM (TBM penis plant) has just thrown out a pup after a good year of doing absolutely nothing at all. i expected it to be dormant over winter but i thought i would at least see some growth last summer
-
ill be there with big rainbow coloured bells on! im quite excited despite the fact that the venue is probably going to be even hotter, drier and dustier than the last time i went
-
according to a book about thailand that ive just finished reading pretty much all 'meat' sold as tiger penis in thailands markets is actually more likely to be carved cattle tendon. kind of interesting and quite relieving

16g would be the minimum size i would want to wear in a nipple piercing but i would probably opt for 14g. you will have to wait for it to heal and then stretch it up using a taper

nothing really exciting to add except drink lots of water and exercise!
