Perhaps. Don't think that will ever happen though. I don't mind a bit of a drink, man does it make me feel like total crap though, within a few hours of drinking I feel so crappy that I don't usually bother with the stuff. Much better things to while away the small hours.yes it was illegal in the USA in the 1920s i think .....it went under ground and made all the gangsters of that era (ie the mafia) very wealthy

If it is in your care, then yes I would definitely prune the rotting sections, and dose the cuts with sulphur.. Otherwise ask the owner if you can - it would help prevent the rot spreading to other areas. If it's summer where you are right now it _might_ be ok to leave, but if it's winter I would prune.
thankyou all very much for the advice i will give it a prune will post more pics soon

1 looks a bit like T. peruvianus "Rosei" vvvvvvery shekshie2 looks like a plain old pachanoi to me
Id say 1 3 4 5 are all the same plants, peruvi and a cereus with the pach in the background of pic 4.
yes they are all a group of the same plants
-
Agree for the most part.#1 the damage is rather severe sunburn - suspect a tree or fence removed from in front of it recently.
I'd almost say without hesitation that #2 is a pach var Juuls giant
4 and 5 look to be an awesome example of cereus sp
yes bit i have just moved to this place and there was a bon fire next to these 12 foot + im guessing cerius and a bridge
only because of the long spines on the not so cerius ......and the pach scop looking thing to the left is what i would of thought it may have been ...there is some serious rot setting in shouold I cut away all the effected areas it has been badly burnt ?
and yes this has been my first attempt at doing an ID on any cacti that is

hey nice one yes like what yas doin man....... bro how did the gig go hope all went good?
and thanks for the comments people

Tardis, what do you consider 'stoner', and may I ask, not as a wizened cunt but a genuine observer into trends, what age bracket you are ? I personally love that younger folk sometime cite stoner bands as influences before their time.Heavy Stoner for me would include (in no particular order) "The Sword", "Kyuss", "Black Sabbath", "Thumlock", "Downtime", "Fu Manchu", "Brant Bjork & the Bros", and some other hybrid stoner/rock/prog kickarse stuff like Hendrix, Tool, Mars Volta etc.
Man, what are your influences ? What do you wear on your sleeve ? Very interested, eh.... as this forum doesn't tend to speak much of moooooooosic.
yes influences as above but as influences/inspiration only
and i have seen kyuss live in brisbane in the 90s cant remember exact year
also the mars volta
still dig sabbath saw ozzy last week awesome
so we probably wont come across as a kyuss or fumanchu clones or do we try to but we dig
what is stoner rock ......so hard to say what we sound like as it is pointless really we can only quote influences i spose

I've had a bit of a listen and I don't mind your acoustic stuff at all. However, I can't imagine how this material would sound as "heavy stoner rock"... so I'm actually kinda curious to see what you do with it. I'll watch this space.hey thanks for the comments mate its sorta stoner influenced riff orientated heavy rock and is working out to our ears
very very well will be doing live shows soon will keep posted

Musician Ichiro Tanaka, who tuned and played a sample guitar at Gibson's Tokyo office Monday, said the technology is handy for professionals too. If they use special tuning for just part of a concert, as he often does, it means they don't have to lug around an extra guitar with the second tuning ready.
"It's more than just convenience," said Tanaka, of Japan. "It's a feature I really appreciate."
i could see intonation and string gauge being an issue for some tunings but hey i think it has potential for being more than just
a gimmick

muauuauahahha i nu there was an explanation you funny bastard .....hhhmmn maybe i can run my possums with the car where legal of coures and then throw rocks at em

SHIT i copied what was going to say and then copied a picture...oh well.i was walking in a field and found this plant, i thought it was kewl so i took some piktchas. i think it's solanaceous, it's leaves might be variegated according to my not so excellent botanical skills, it's flowers have five yellow petals with a black dot in the centre of each. it has these air filled balloon things that the flower might grow out of. they go pop and the whole thing is hairy but not in a prickly way because i put some in my pocket. i didnt taste or smell it or anything like that.
pics!
yeah cape goose berry wait till the outer case/cape goes dry and fruit goes yellow ish very nice taste nice in a salad

It was the most notorious scientific experiment in recent memory - in 1989, the two men who claimed to have discovered the energy of the future were condemned as imposters and exiled by their peers. Can it possibly make sense to reopen the cold fusion investigation? A surprising number of researchers already have

Yeah it’s a funny way of limiting learners - NSW and the ACT have a KW/ton rating - heavy powerful bikes are still learner legal forExample. Harley Davison 1999 FSX series ( @ 1449 cc) has ratio of 128 KW/Ton.
The ZXR250 (249cc) is at 133 KW/ton
Anything under 150 KW/ton is legal.
The harley is a 292Kg bike!
Never buy a Harley! ;)

Hey,
Can anyone reccomened a 250cc motorbike? I need one for going to uni everyday on my 30K round trip. Looking for something witha good fuel economy cause i'm currently spending 60+$ a week on my car:( Nothing over 7K preferably.
Cheers!
wow never thought learners could ride larger than 250cc legaly anyware in aus very interesting
rgv's are definately fun but not a learners bike unless you are an experienced motor X rider helps so much....a mate of mine bought [an across] to learn on
thought he would kill him self on it but he is still alive stacked it a total of 4 times[his fault] run of the road countless times now he has a full licence and larger bike hasnt drop that yet...... take care be safe and remember people dont see you very well untill you fly across there car bonnet and then cartwheeling down the road and into a steel saftey barrier
but other than all that its fuckin awsesome riding motor cylces
so expect to stack whatever bike you get atleast once
Nothing to see here
