  1. Don't mean to offend, but your friends who laced the cannabis with DMT are incredibly idiotic IMO. These people shouldn't be in possession of such a powerful substance IMHO, for both their own and everybody elses safety.

I feel incredibly sorry for your friend who experienced this. DMT is extremely intense at the least, even when you are well prepared, being dosed without knowing, especially with people who have no clue what they are doing is absolute insanity. I really hope you let your friends know how stupid they behaved, there's plenty more colourful words you can add i'm sure :)

Stories like this really get to me. If I was your friend I would be pissed off beyond words. The people who laced it need a big fucking kick in the arse, snap them out of their mentality that it's fun to fuck with other peoples minds. Psychedelics aren't a game, this is very serious stuff, I hope they realise this very soon.

apologies but this REALLY pisses me off.

As i was reading this thread i was thinking exactly the same thing. i'm glad somebody said it before me, i don't think i would have put it as nicely as that.

i can't believe the lack of respect for both the friend and the substance.

  2. It’s funny I was going to put up a thread similar to this one. All along my train line in Melbourne (Epping) is something that looks to me like a morning glory, I’ll have to put up a photo once I take one. The plant I’m seeing has predominantly purple with a tinge of blue flowers. I haven't gotten right up close to have a look at one yet.

Does anyone know of the plant I’m talking about? It seems to be everywhere.

  3. i'll never get tired of those badgers.

    absolute classic.

i can't get over how huge that thing is, it was my housemates little brother and his friends that made that when they where about 13 or 14. but yes an absolute classic.

  4. i ordered some brugmansia seeds last week some time and today they arrived, but not only was there the ones i had ordered but an additional 2 different varietys aswell. all for the cost of a cold coin. thanks so much, you guys are really doing a great thing.

  5. i've been growing Leonotis leonurus for over a year now quite well and have not run into any problem up until now.

I just recently bought another wild dagga plant (a really nice one too) from a nursery, and since i've had it, the bottom leaves have been turning yellow and dropping off and it doesn't appear to be stopping. the only thing i've done to it is simply repot since i got it and i've been watering, feeding and putting it in the same area as my other wild dagga plants which are doing really well. i'll post up some photos as soon as i find somewhere that will let me upload things (i use the internet at the library at the moment).

does anyone here have any idea what might be wrong?

  6. Yeah I understand I won't make a lot of money from the ethnobotanics, but I definitely want to get involved in horticulture. I’m also curious if anyone here is making a living off horticulture and how you went about it?

  7. Being young I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what I’m going to do career wise, my main two interests being music/sound and ethnobotany/horticulture being that i don't want to live in the city my whole life I thought I’d follow my interest in ethnobotany/horticulture, essentially I’d like to run a nursery specializing in ethnobotanics and medicinal herbs. I was thinking of starting off by doing a traineeship at a nursery or similar. I’m just wondering if anyone had any advice that they could give me, some suggestions at what to study be it now or in the future, or maybe just explain what you did in order to make money in the field ethnobotanics. Hope that's not too much of a vague question.

  8. i haven' read a hell of a lot when it comes to ethnobotanics and entheogens. i really enjoyed, plants of the gods & dmt the spirit molecule. I've also read a few books from the online books section of erowid, Golden Guide: Hallucinogenic Plants - Schultes, LSD : My Problem Child - hofmann and a few others.

  9. The i'm feeling lucky button simply shows the first link in your search.

The following is taken from www.wikipedia.com

A Google bomb or Google wash is a certain attempt to influence the ranking of a given page in results returned by the Google search engine. Due to the way that Google's PageRank algorithm works, a page will be ranked higher if the sites that link to that page all use consistent anchor text. A Google bomb is created if a large number of sites link to the page in this manner. Google bomb is used both as a verb and a noun.

See Spamdexing for the practice of deliberately and dishonestly modifying HTML pages to increase the chance of them being placed close to the beginning of search engine results, or to influence the category to which the page is assigned in a dishonest manner.

  10. i've had plants of the gods for a while now its a great book, i'm not so new to the ethnobotanic thing, just to growing them. i've used the seedring before too, but i do really appreciate all the replys thanks. any more basic tips to bear in mind would be great.

  11. Yeah after I posted this I did think it might have been a bit vague, sorry. I’ve been lurking on these forums for a couple of months now, thanks for the basic tips that's the kind of stuff I need. As for the climate I live in Melbourne currently.

Is it best to bring cacti inside when it’s raining a fair bit? I left my first pachanoi outside during the rain for a couple of days once and it got pretty bad root rot, not knowing why it wasn't growing I left it for quite a while till I read up and found out what was wrong with it, I’ve taken it out of the ground an cut back where it was rotting it's currently just inside hardening up again before I repot it but no matter how much of the rot I seem to cut off it seems to appear again, is there something maybe I’m doing wrong?

What would be a good plant food to use with my cacti and how often should I feed them?

I’ve flicked through growing the hallucinogens on erowid, and I can't afford to buy the psychedelic plant encyclopedia (it’s $225 at my local bookstore) are there any other books that would be good for just all round psychedelic plant growing info?

sorry for all the questions, i'm just really new to this and you guys all seem to really know what you are doing.

  12. i'm pretty new to the growing thing. i'm after some hints and tips for growing some plants and cacti. reccomendations for books and what are the essential supplies i'll need. I have several trichocereus, phalaris which has just sprouted, a sally d, catnip, wormwood and lions tail plants. i have a basik understanding of growing techniques but i really need some pro advice. currently i've got most of my plants in a lightbox but it's getting crowded and i'll need to move some outside, but i'm worried the weather will kill some things, what can i do to protect them?
