where the graft was knocked off does it look moist or is it dry or red? might be able to tell if it was going to be successful or not. maybe you just saved yourself a week or 2 of waiting and hoping when it wasnt going to be successful anyway? if you want to swap a small pup for something let me know. pups seem easier to learn to graft.

some come with seperate ballasts. doubt you will get globes for these at a hydro store. will need to go to a lamp place. get white/blue spectrum bulbs. they also make some where they have added more yellow to them (whilst still being Metal halide) but these didnt work very well for some reason. though you would think that they would have might be good if you have 4 white/blue and 1 of the others. also did they come with the glass cover? these have a UV filter in them to cut back the amount of UV produced. leave these on initially but carefully introduce the unfiltered to the plants to see how they react if you want.

this bug one has only got a little bit of the trich left below the graft. will root and grow well but may take a bit longer to root. -

the holes are where ive been cuttting out new pups that start forming and throwing them away. i dig them out as soon as they start to form. otherwise i end up with one solid mass with no individual pups that can be removed and planted. yes it is soilless. i have no peres to graft seedlings too so will have to do them straight onto trich -

hey. did a trade with someone a few months ago. came well and grew for a coulpe of months but then died off and hasnt re emerged with the warmer weather. would like to trade again with him or someone else. btw did my cacti survive???
