  1. Method is all important it seems and when you get it right you can decrease the amount used to get a kickin effect. As i use spin with MJ & # i use the same method just modified a little. Chop the nothash finely using sissors into 1 side of a stainless steel bowl place un cured spin in other side of bowl(aprox 1/5th -1/4 gr not hash with 1 ciggie) Take a jet flame lighter and heat the spin side for about 15 sec in a small circular motion, move to the chopped # side same motion less time untill you see the smallest indication of melting. Mix with spin Squishing together avoiding getting the # on fingers as it sticks to ya, repeat with less heat(warming)twice to get a primo mix- takes a little practice. "just dont cook the brew, if its smoking your over doing it" low heat and lots of rubbing together works best. Dry bong with 1/2 - 3/4 full single hitter,go slow, hold jet lighter to it while smoking and toke hard towards the end- tiny of water in the bottom to catch the sparks if not using a gauze Hold smoke in for a comfortable period. 3 hitters = mild to medium effect 5+ hitters = where's a soft chair i aint goin out tonight. 0-5 min ..comming on 5-15 min.. full effect lasts about 3 hrs of red eyed fun

    Ch'üan-chen Taoism

Bluemeanie – yeah it just makes sense eh, the Tao Te Ching is a great piece of work. Try this next time you pick it up: think of a particular problem or question that you Want enlightenment or wisdom on – flick to any page in books 1 or 2 Lao Tzu and relate it to your question, you may find you still get an appropriate answer .. spooky! Nebraxas- cheers for the link, I see what ur saying. There seems to be a lot of links between the Tao and Buddhism in general. Martial art teachings flow well with either of these religion/philosophy even Goju Kai a martial art earlier practiced for several years, maybe it’s a discipline thing? Both require heaps of discipline and commitment to progress. Traditional Goju Kai precepts: We are proud to study the way of Goju Ryu. We are courteous in manners We are humble but strong We cultivate the spirit of co-operation We respect the Budo spirit of traditional martial arts. BTW Nabraxas…. To which religion or philosophy do you subscribe to most if I may ask?

    Ch'üan-chen Taoism

Ok here goes… There are a few differing ways of interpreting “the Immortal” depending on who’s teachings you adhere to, this is how I understand it. (short version) The living Immortal Description: pure and still, the already accomplished. Image: The serpent before shedding its skin.(meaning before death or transcending) State: a Sage or Tao master having prepared properly and successfully Summary: when a Sage has reached this stage successfully an immortal may choose to make it’s presence felt or known, offer teachings or an audience in heaven (nature itself not biblical heaven), set a task or meditation to complete in order to become more immortal or gain powers and insights. Footnote: herbs and potions are also believed in some Tao sects to provide a path to immortality in the physical body. The transcended Immortal Description: A shadow, trickster, the teacher who will appear when the student is ready. Image: the serpent shed its skin and transcended into heaven leaving only its skin or body on earth. State: a Sage having completed his earthbound duties in preserving the Tao. Description: This master has physically died and transcended becoming Immortal in spirit. He is a shadow in essence in that unlike a mortal he has no body to project a shadow from blocking ambient light (sun) he conceals his light becoming a shadow and remains hidden to those not worthy. Footnote: Also the immortal has attained a state of kind of melding opposites into one – he is here as if he were absent, he lives as if he were dead. A word on Tao alchemy The inner alchemy procedure is based on Taoist principals to prolong life with a view or goal of immortality; this alchemy involves meditation to produce a symbolic elixir within the physical body. If interested, Lü Tung Pin may provide further information as he is considered the healer or medicine man of the immortal Taoists, even today people still use the system of yarrow sticks to diagnose ailments and refer herbal remedies. On a personal level I do not strive to this goal.

    Ch'üan-chen Taoism

Jesus said that? Sheesh. These passages describe the principal of Taoist humility; mentally trying to acquire wealth is a mind state of desire for profit. The Taoist practice to dispel these desires through humility in ones self and socially. Taoists do strive for an austere lifestyle, not entirely practical in this day and society, the minimising or extinguishing of physical and mental desire not only leads to inner peace and self-knowledge but also teaches valuable lessons in humility, thus bringing you closer to enlightenment. Also a reason for taking the appearance of a fool is to be overlooked and underestimated, thus giving an unseen advantage and secrecy (Art of War). The teachings of Confucius and his disciples were written during a war torn period from invasion and different dynasties. The towns people would not be suspicious of a beggar lingering in the town market especially if the beggar (spy) was thought a fool. Here the principle of “non action” does not apply. Quote(theory and practice)Ch'uan-chen Taoisim. I allow people around me to laugh and say, 'You stupid, lazy bum!" Is there anybody who knows who I am?” To which part of the beast must you first tie a thread before pushing it through the eyelet? For merely pushing the camel through would seem purposeless... Hmm..... fair comparison.

  9. With so many religions, philosophies and belief systems available, many in contradiction to one another in some form, which is most right or are all equally right just deluded a little? Some believe a babe to be an un-carved block, others say it is exposed to pre-disposition hence influencing its path or way, some have beliefs imposed onto them…is not belief a matter of choice? Teachings of old or ancient beliefs are subject to the interpretation of the teacher due to the luxury of individuality, unfortunately this may obscure the original teachings (Chinese whispers, in theory). Pre-disposition aside, would not the young offspring of five separate belief systems play happily until a basic necessity like food was introduced? Hence a pecking order may arise like in the way of nature itself, does a flower resent the tree for taking a greater share of sun? Would the tree make room for the flower if shaded? Or simply co-exist. Would not the adults of these differing beliefs commune more happily before vast knowledge is introduced? Although being a Westerner, I am Taoist in nature and belief, thus believing the ways of nature as the true way, though I can be no more incorrect or correct than any other belief system or religion. Insurance companies have “acts of God” clauses- should not these be acts of nature? Would your God really punish me for not conforming to a different belief ? “Sorry Flash, you got it all wrong. Please follow the stairs on the left down to the basement.” lol Let’s say there really is a God - is he/she/it prejudice against other Gods or is there is one God with different teachings for different folks?

    hydrogen power

years back there was a US tv documentary displaying an actual buggy style vehicle running on hydrogen, from memory the greatest hurdle was getting it running, as the amount of compression needed to separate the hydrogen/oxygen molecules in the combustion chamber was emence. though the footage showed a small capacity motor producing huge horsepower. The same documentary also showed a running "N" machine IE: an alternator powering a generator which once moving provided enough power to keep it self moving indefinately and producing a small excess current that could be used to run another appliance etc. One could only expect petro chemical companies would do their best to prevent these products becoming available for fear of business and profit losses. passiflora incanarta extract

Def.. incanarta Rev. Aquired it from Hilde as i dont grow it. Thanks for the replies ppl :D read so much conflicting info and just wanted the good oil.(excuse the pun) Cheers
  14. Hi all :D thought it time to quit lurking, join and hopefully give some input back to the community My questions relate to Passiflora incanarta. 1/ is it worth doing an extraction at all? I would assume a ../polar (acid/ethanol) would be best? Or would a straight ethanol extraction, warmed through evaporation suffice (to disperse cyanide gasses) 2/ has anyone performed this or alike and had an oil/residue worth smoking? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. [ 10. July 2005, 02:50: Message edited by: Flash ]
