If you're curious then it will pay to return. They don't look much like cubensis pins though.

It's a Resupinate fungi. Ceriporia purpurea. https://bie.ala.org.au/species/c7c6b698-15c6-424b-ac69-d710dd99ff7c

With the woody material in the pictures and Pink Gills I would say this is a Pluteus sp.

It was worth it to catch up with those who came. With that said, Spring is just around the corner. I propose another meet in 4-6 weeks. What say the collective?
-
Low tek version of this would be to add a load of spores into some water and broadcast spray this over a paddock used for grazing. Spores enter the beast via ingestion of grass. Nature should take over the rest if favourable conditions are present.

Hericium coralloides found back in June.

I got word you guys had organised this. Thanks for responding and I'll see you there. I'll get there around 11am, unless someone says earlier. If people need certain plants or grafting stock then post here or send me a PM. Bring some warm clothes as it does look like it may get chilly at times. Hopefully the rotunda is free and we an seek shelter. I'll bring a small gas burner and some perc coffee. Bring food or beverages to warm up if you're into that sort of thing. Edit: Shame you cannot come obtuse.

It's been a while since we last met, hopefully everyone's had a snickers since our last discussions, and perhaps are interested in having a plant meet? Spring isn't far away. A good time to swap some seeds, cuts and cuppa soups.

Those ones are a Phellinus sp.

subaeruginosa phenotypes that were DNA tested and the results

I've tried for years to get local help and always find closed doors. It's the reason things get sent overseas. If local institutions and enterprises want to open some doors then I will support them. Until that time I will deposit samples in the proper state herbariums and continue to send samples out to be sequenced. I'd love to know of any local places offering services, if you know. -
Awesome. Happy to hear you liked the cards.

***ALL GONE*** As the title says. I have 5 packs of 50 seeds to giveaway. T.bridgesii Psycho0 x T.peruvianus Roseii #1. Psycho0 was the pollen provider. First in first served. AUS only.

-
Yep. 87_botanist makes 5. PM me the details where to post and I'll go and post them. Thank you all for replying.
-
Hey! So happy that you're keen! PM me where to send them and I'll post them asap. Three to go....
-
Sure. PM me the details. One down, Four to go....
-
Awesome. I already see things are rolling along nicely. If others reading haven't got the PM then we need to add you to the list. Post here and we can do that.
-
It's just a beat up cubensis.
-
Get some habitat pictures and note the substrate it's growing from, please.

Hey Tangich? Looks a bit too stout for one of those. Definitely not P. cubensis or Panaeolus cyanescens. Something different and interesting for sure.

Pachanoi indentification, any help appreciated
karode13 replied to ElectricDawn's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
I'd agree with pachanoi. Nice ones at that. -
The penor looks like standard issue spots caused by humidity. Keeping them out of the rain/elements can help prevent it. Hard to tell if you have scale on the bridgesii. The yellow spots could be scale or just the first stages of humidity spots. As they heal they will lighten in colour and scab up.

We did discuss the NNSW meet but most of us can't really make the commitment. A VIC camp has been in the works for a couple of years now. I'm not bonded in chains to another anymore so am taking up the reigns in kickstarting the planning phase. It will happen this year, even if I have to camp alone with earwax effigies. @Amazonian: Can you please make a group PM for us to discuss in? I'd do it but I have enought trouble making a post here some days. It's me, not the system, for once. If people want to do a camp/fungi foray later in the season I can be contacted via the PM system here. I'll be leading forays about fungi later in the year, organisied through mainstream social media.

If enough people are in for another meet then make a date. I'll be there. We were discussing a camping trip and it's why I'm posting. Who's interested and when can we do this? If we could organise something to take place within the next 8 weeks then we should really do it. I could just organise the entire thing but not everyone could agree with the location. Throw some dates and locales around please. This needs to happen this year. No more talking, the time for action is now....or soon....:p

The repotting has been done and what I uncovered blew my fragile, eggshell mind.
