I find Nicotiana species are a great herbal smoke And you can add it in with any other smoking blend. wonderful synergy. Lobelia sinensis when you come across a smokeable grade

Happenned to me at EB3 but only in the begginning as the peak is climbed. I find this period is usually problematic if you push yourself. Once you peak and then on that lovely gradual decline its no problem Besides there is NO WAY you could articulate what is occurring at that point at the speed of thought. I wonder if its being dumbfounded because we lack the vocabulary to translate the mental picture into words. Far better perhaps for those gifted with the language of synaesthesia to create Art and music to convey the message.

And as likely so that the pollies kids dont get in too much trouble

I propose we do something about this... Instead of leaving the situation as is we should endeavour to enrich our urban environment with as many other safer and more pleasant entheogens as possible

Can you divide them? or culture them? Fascinating. I learnt about these briefly at Uni So the stage youre seeing is the organised stage looks like you can culture them - Physarum polycephalum at least http://helios.bto.ed.ac.uk/bto/microbes/slime.htm Now i remember seeing this sort of thing once - it ate some mushrooms! it was white and extremely fast growing - looked like a cross between cobwebs and well... congealed semen. Didnt realise what it was till now Just like this but white and rampaging across the casing layer http://www.hiddenforest.co.nz/slime/photos/what05.htm could be of concern http://www.bspp.org.uk/icpp98/6/9.html

This is always a question that needs a little further explanation P cubensis is a wide ranging geographical species and Lipa Yai is just a spore race originating from mushrooms collected at that locality in Thailand There are other Psilocybe species both more potent and less potent than the species average of P cubensis Potency can be directed by genetic factors but is also largely affected by nutritional and age related influneces. Rich substrates, those higher in nitrogen, particularly tryptophan and tryptamine significantly boost alkaloid production It may however be possible to make a material too rich. Published results for PC on agar media designed to boost alkloid production failed to produce when too much sugar was added to the media. It is also affected by the flush it came from. The second flush has been demonstrated to be the strongest with the 3rd not far below (2, 1 = 3,4) but with a much lower biomass.. Genetics can vary between strains and within them. In a pasture some wild mushrooms will be quite strong and others will be duds. Recorded variation of field picked material was by a factor of 10. Cultivated material was 4 i believe. Occasionally you can isolate a dud strain amongst the good ones. There have been many instances of mutant mushrooms Dud strains may have strange growth habits, fail to sporulate or produce negligible secondary metabolites. IMO LY is a fine representative of the species. BM has mentioned stronger strains like the argentines but also the downsides of them having finnicky fruiting preferences. This type of trait is quite undesirable and makes cross comparison much harder. Some will say all cubes are the same, others have other opinions. Id lean towards the former once you account for environmental variablity and the varaibility within the strain. In answer to the NSW/qld question - comparably any cultivated mushroom will have a certain genetic potential that dependent on conditions will be expressed to some degree. All i can say is that LY would be less variable The wild mushrooms ive tried from NSW were 'stoney' anyway, feeling sedated with body load is characteristic particularly in the early stages. For me this is not a desirable trait though if a stable trait it may be desirable to others (eg Hydro vs bush) . No cultivated mushroom or wild picked other species i have ever been given has done this.

Ive had several gnomes comment on the pleasant compatibility of Cacti and Hawaiian baby woodrose. A lot more economical than anything synthesised too

If you want specific availability i can say i could have syringes within 2 weeks if theres the immediate demand - no problem. $15 for a 10mL syringe of a proven isolate. That is I know it fruits without fuss. Its an autumn fruiter so i assume it fits in the loose category of 'cool climate' Ill be selling cultures later too. Theyll be more expensive - like about $45 but have the advantages of; -proven isolates -in duplicate - one petri plate for working on and one storage slant as a backup -Guaranteed clean Its a convenience thing. If you want a culture you can clone it yourself if you have the time and skills - but this package is for those who want it now so they can get on with actually growing the bit you can eat [ 27. Shiitake will soon be abvailable from funky fungus as both mycoculture and as Mycelial syringes The latter option will make it much easier to handle as you can use standard techniques often used to grow cubensis to get into edible medicinals and novelty types. You can then bypass the agar and transfer steps in generating spawn and get straight into actually growing mushrooms Shiitake is very adaptable to different woods. Eucalyptus is suitable but the best ive seen so far has been Liquidambar logs

Given the intelligence of some of the anti-american factions and opponents within the US itself i really dont understand what terrorists are thinking about blowing up buildings giving these guys excuses to wage war on the world. Why not just use this website as a hitlist? im sure they get enough pointers from the Israelis to know how to go about it Attacking the bureaucracy skirts the issue, they dont know who or what they serve, and now they are so game they openly stick their heads out. What the ruling elite needs is a bit of shock to put the fear back into them - to remind them that they are still accountable and no matter how much money you have the little people can still get you While its a given that there will always be the ruled and the rulers, there is a limit of tolereance they should never cross. to bastardise the fight club quote we make your food, we cut your hair we watch over you while you sleep - do not fuck with us

i just finished reading "one river" by wade davis and it was excellent. In in he decribes Tim plowmans theories on the origin of coca according to his fieldwork E coca is the montane type, is an outcrosser (a more primitive trait) and the the Coca of Bolivia and the Andes. It is propagated by seed sown in seed beds under shade and planted out after gradual hardening for several months On the eastern side of the andes in the Tropical lowlands is a degenerate variety of E coca propagated by cuttings simply stuck in the ground, it is a cultigen (apparently the seed is no good but if it were taken back to the original climate maybe the seeds would be viable again?) To the north is a drought hardy variety known as Trujillo coca grown in irrigated fields. It is an outcrosser like E coca and a cultigen but is classed as belonging to the other species E novagranatense var trujillense due to the flavonoid and oil contents of the leaves which it shares with its cousin, Colombian coca. Colombian coca is E novagranatense its grows in the humid and tropical lowlands, is propagated by seed and is self fertile unlike the others, it is considered hardy. This appears to be the variety in Australia and in Java. Im not sure what species are cultivated in Taiwan or Ceylon but again its probabaly E novo E coca crosses with trujillo to form abnormal offspring. Colombian and trujillo cross to form fertile offspring. I dont know about the Ipadu form. There are many many wild varieties of coca - referred to throughout the books as being the 'coca of their grandfathers'. being too strong or just growing nearby and sometimes being used to adulterate the cultivated coca. Its quite possibel that 'too strong' referes to the presence of tropanes. which are the most common type of alkaloids found in the genus with cocaine being restricted to 17 species mostly in trace amounts except for these 4 cultivated forms

Classic example of the tragedy of US culture and its many wasted youth Many of those answers demonstrated rationality and imagination - but seemed to be based on a lack of factual information and distorted world view Did anyone else see a program a few months back on how the US armed forces are setting up Military high schools in poor urban and inner city areas where the school population are mostly Black and hispanic. And its a hard sell too You get a decent education and its all free - but the price high - the Government owns you Modern day slavery - send in the darkies...

BTW - i think giving any more control to government or church is bad - so bad it may be the worst thing anyone can do - including zoophilism For that reason i think drugs should never be legalised as it puts them unde the control of the state and means that they set the rules. I would much rather see drugs decriminalised but remain slightly underground - topsoil if you like - just take away the criminality of personal use. There is mediacl use but for those of us who claim a RIGHT to our own bodies and minds then legalisation is just as bad as complete illegality. Look at tobacco - its cost so much, is far too widely available in a form designed specifically to ecourage increased consumption for bigger profits, AND there is no choice - seen organic tobacco? seen any attempt to make biodegradable butts? in fact have you seen any smallholders in the Australian tobacco industry? The stricter the regulations on manufacture the more it pushes out new innovators except as subservants of the established powers - look at cars - more and more safety regulations make it virtually impossible for new companies to form so while we need to keep out of jail we also need to draw the line between spirit and politics same way church and state were meant to be separated
