  2. i grow Sutherlandia frutescens., also known as Çancer Bush.

Taken as tea occasionally. No noticeable effects to report (other than lack of cancer  )

Never smoked it, never even contemplated it, never heard of it being used this way till now.

  3. d, i think you would find that it is always invariably the other war around.

People first learn they have cancer from a "standard doctor", and along with that diagnosis are then prescribed (through his/her opinion) a mode of treatment.

The investigating/seeking/using alternative treatments come after that, sometimes straight away, sometimes after they have tried conventional treatments.

  4. but in practice why does someone who eats a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables need to take any supplements?

Well, in practice, for one, if their preferred method of preparing the vegetables involves cooking/microwaving/boiling the shiz out of them,

    & for two

where they source their fruit & veges from.

quote "Contrary to the recent paper, Brandt’s analysis found that organic produce tended to provide significantly more vitamin C and “secondary metabolites.” Secondary metabolites, or bioactive compounds that aren’t directly involved in the plant’s growth, maturation, or reproduction, include the antioxidant compounds – the polyphenols, the flavonoids, and all the other phytonutrients".

  5. looks like more than 1 plant in the pot in image #1

-left hand side with purple on the leaves and stem is Krishna Tulsi (ocimum sanctum)

-the other bigger one(s) look like another Tulsi, possibly a cross.

lightly rub that lilac/pink flower and smell. If it is strong fruity then I reckon a Kapoor Tulsi (ocimum sanctum)
