  1. I am worried that my pet rabbit may contact myxi and I want to take precautions. OK, well it seems that the new myxamatosis vaccine is not being imported into Australia. Are there any veterinarians here from the UK who would be willing to supply me with the freeze dried form of this vaccine? I can get a presciption written out by an Australian vet if need be or maybe you can just write me one. I am not sure of the legalities of importing this vaccine into Australia. I know previously they have not allowed myxo vaccines due to them containing a live form of the virus, but this new vaccine has a dead form of the virus. I am pretty sure customs couldn't give a shit about a rabbit vaccine either way. It says too that it can be transported at ambient temp, so post shouldn't be a problem. I would need an unopened packet to satisfy my vet that it was still safe and sterile to inject my bunny. Peace Naja

  4. I have smelled a nice saffron based scent on a customer lately, it's a male scent, smells like full on saffron wwhen he's in the shop. So I rekon a safron based calogne would be nice. I notice that the older style purfumes are alot of the time are aldehyde based, but I am not too sure if they are all too keen on the import of aldehydes these days.

  10. thats just it, it's hardly serious, it's a little tub in the corner of a room or on a shelf with 1 or 2 flouro's in it, costs less that $30 to set up.
  11. Sounds like u need to invest in a 400w hps. just jokes, but for real u could set up flouros for the young ones. All mine are growing under 2x 24w energy saver spiral flouro globes. 48w of energy over 600 x 400 mm plastic tub.

not a random, pic, but just discovered this as a movie.
  13. deff spacemonk, i also strongly encouraged him to accept something in return but was met with refusal all the way. Cause I am pretty sure I would have payed big for seeds like these. U could start quite a seed business with seeds like that nitro.and because of the diff species used amongst the x's, we are sure to have lots to choose from spination wise. Can't wait till they mature, at the moment best i can do is guess.I am hoping for some with lageniformis type spines, some with pach types spines, etc,etc My plan with the crest forms is to grow them on pere till spring, then graft onepart of each to pach rootstock, root one on own roots and leave a good chunk on the pere to regenerate out some more growth. This way can see if diff rootstocks effect growth types and if any have difficulty or weakness growing on their own roots. I am unsure about the crazy types wat to really do, I'll just have to see how they grow over time and try and do the same kinda thing with them also if their shapes and forms allow/
  14. So just did a count, out of 27 actively growing grafts, 15 are obvious freaks. 8 of them crested heavily and more going so, maybe who knows. It's seriously good pickings when u get multiple pots with multiple crests. Ur a legend nitrogen! Australia and the world just got a huge injection of crests and mutations. Quite timely in a time when less identifiable forms may become preferable.

  16. I don't have chickens and I also realize that this fun fact probably stems from the barbaric treatment of battery chickens and influencing their day night ratios and such. But the australorp holds the world record for most eggs laid in one year. 363 eggs in 364 days. Now that's is impressive.

The 17 ridiculously cute moths page

i can't snorkle with my wife and 7 yo old cause of sharks. My wife had to teach him I used to snorkle all the time, but then people started getting eaten regularly, which in an ironic way is a sign their numbers are increasing wich is great form and enviromental standpoint, but I can't rationalize the reward for risk, even though I know it's slim. Any1 know how much a shark shield is?
  18. ok, fixed the links in the first post. first batch i grafted i couldn't see any freaks except if they were triploids, I didn't make a preference for freaks, on the second batch i didtarget the freaks, but still got pretty mucch same ratio freak:normal by now. On average, they give out >50% freaks on all 5 X's i have grafted so far, even the ones where the monstrose is donated by the father/pollen rather than being the mum , the last 3 X's will get grafted this week some time.

    Exploiting Fasciation Contagion

o.k. Well since the pollen of fasciated cacti produces a pretty high percentage of fasciated seedlings. It can be assumed that it is something that is transferable via pollen? So wat things can be in or attatch themselves to pollen? In this list Surely the asnwer must lie.
