My favourite Bridge at this point, yes beautiful! Thanks all for the id. I have multiple named Bridgesii clones but didn't think I had Physcho0 which clearly I do. Nice Zed. I have a small Con, no spines like that yet but I guess they are coming! Cheers Getafix

In love with this plant. Anyone got a Bridgesii with longer spines than this baby, 100mm!! When I was gratefully gifted this plant it was a spineless cut that was terribly etiolated. A beer can size base to the cut but then had etiolated to the size of a texta. I didn't actually know what type of trich it was but had a feeling it was something special. Cut the etiolated top out of it, rooted the little stump and 3 years later I have this beautiful Bridg. Getafix

Remember it was a tiny stump that took months to root and has since grown four arms (one cut off) so has grown app. 3 metres of new growth in 3 years. A metre a year is reasonable I would have thought

Could well be. Wasn't given a name with it. My other Pyscho0's are open pollinated and there are certainly differences so I wasn't sure if this was a named clone Cheers

vehicularly transporting large potted trichs...tips and tricks?
Getafix replied to glimpse's topic in Cacti & Succulents
I have also moved hundreds of cacti around in vehicles suffering the same casualties. In the end I found it easier to just take them out of their pots and move bare root. Much less damage this way and you don't get paranoid every time you go round a corner that ones falling over. Getafix -

SS hybrid, any ideas on ID?
Getafix replied to Myeloblast's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
I have several SS02 x Bridge and they look very similar to your mystery plant. Will post a couple of pics tonight. Getafix -
I sell my penis for $200.00 an hr. Is that what we are talking about?? Getafix

Looks quite similar. The long downward facing central spine. Could well be the same plant.

Cheers Zed. Hope they flower for me one day so I can make super crazy hybrids!

Just a photo update on my Nitrogen seed grown mutants. Pretty proud of my efforts here. these are 2.5yrs old seed grown on their own roots. Are super hardened and have come through another hard summer in full sun looking great. I am going to put these into huge ceramic pots over the Autumn and grow them in my courtyard. Will post some pics once I have it done. Enjoy Getafix
