ID please? very large shrooms.

Question

these are coming up everywhere in my bamboo mulch.
can someone here please ID them for me please?
much appreciated! cheers.

they're gimungus .... big as a dinner plate.
chocolate dark brown gills ... probably black print...
the overlapping ones should show that.

They look like Stropharia rugosoannulata. Edible species, those ones are probably a little past their prime.

Yeah that is Stropharia rugusoannulata which is quite common this type of year in NSW from Sydney up really. grows in mulch, lawns and sometimes even on manure.
