column ID ?

Question

Can someone please help me to work out this one?

I picked up this cactus this morning, I had to dig it up from the ground, it has gone into a big pot now. It is just starting to develop flower buds, so I'm hoping it wont stress to much & they still develop, I think it should be alright.

Definately not a Trichocereus. My first impulse was Browningia. Maybe Candelaris or hertlingiana. Another option would be Stenocereus. There are a few that would match too.

Just realised it seems to have some very fine hair so Pilosocereus is actually a possibility too!

^^LOL, Thanks for the input mate! :)

Thanks for the feed back everyone, I'm guessing I will have to update with some photos of it flowering so we can work out a positive ID.

Cheers
