foolsbreath Posted April 24, 2007 LOL Any prints ZW? I remember finding some on coronet peak one february down there, its cool being able to find cold climate fruit all year round!!
zee_werp Posted April 25, 2007 No prints at the mo. What could you do with them anyway? I suppose you could try to broadcast a spore / mycelium slurry onto a field, but I'm pretty sure indoor cultivation is a no-go. Saw one pic of it once that looked fake (the one in the flask). However I have successfully started a new liberty field by getting about 200 fuzzy stem butts and about 20 whole libs, blending them in water and diluting this down to 10 liters then throwing it round a sheep paddock behind my house. Two years later I found about 20 libs and the next year found about 70. Haven't been back there as I moved.
foolsbreath Posted April 25, 2007 yeah, it would be an outdoor job, probably a heavily manured and mulched garden bed, worth a shot anyway, outdoors is much more fun than indoors anyways Nature seems to do a pretty good job

naja naja Posted April 30, 2007 yes please, prints if at all possible. If u can pick sum just before the veil breaks, put down to take a print in a very clean environment. Once the veil has broken and sum spores have dropped, move to another peice of foil to collect nearly 100% sterile print. ie, collect only the spores dropped on second peice of foil after veil breaks and u should have very clean prints. They don't need to be big. If ya manage to collect a print or two, please send one over this way for microspopy. cheers Naja
Ace Posted May 1, 2007 As above! man, they look awesome! Are these found in Aus? I've heard a rumour about them being found in my neck of the woods, but never seen any. Can anyone verify?
