'piper novae hollandiae' is related to the' piper methysticium' (kava kava) and was used by the australian aborigines for a kava like effect. it's found in rain forests all over NSW QLD and NT. I think the leaves are chewed I haven't tried this, anyone else given it a go?

Having never heard the phrase 'Think globally act locally' before reading this post, it's managed to come up at least 10 times in the past week! I can't believe i've never seen it anywhere before until recently! I'm now even a proud owner of a 'Think globally, act locally' Bumper sticker! (just so happened to be the last one in the store too, weird) I know where your coming from Rabaelthaza, being just 20 years old I've only recently noticed that the ranting and raving of myself and friends, complaining about the way society is and how fucked up the world seems to be isn't doing anyone any good. I think it takes a bit for people to sit down and actually have a think about what they're doing to help. let alone coming to realize that all they've been doing is complaining about the way things are but not trying to do anything about it. Starting small is at least a start, complaining is just what comes after having partially woken up. Fyde.

'Yawning Man' Personally for me, i know i'll be successful. Because i'm making the right choices based on what i want. It's not selfish, it's how to be happy. You have to do what you want, otherwise anything else you do is for the wrong reason and you're gonna end up pissed off and bitter. I totally agree with you yawning man, I think that success comes down to achieving (even just attempting) what you (yourself) wants to do! (success being happiness!!) I guess it's almost like the saying 'It's not the destination that counts, it's the journey'. I think it's funny how people can boast about their position of work or study when almost everyone can learn and contain information. I don't see how it's so impressive having a high position in study or employment when anyone else is just as capable to learn the same skills.
