I just had a beauty. Not on the phone though. A nice Indian man came to my door with his spiel. I am always polite and listen and nod and when they finish I say I'm not interested and say to have a nice day.... Well, this guy said I would have recieved something in the mail from his company about road use/car travel (or something like that), to which I said I probably threw it straight in the bin as junk mail, leave the info in the letterbox and I will have a look at it this time. He produced a form and said he wanted to put a device in (or on my car) ....before he said any more I am like nahhhhh... Sorry not interested!!! . I wish I paid more attention and asked questions and wrote down his company name etc.. But I was in a bit of shock that they would be asking to do something with my car. Lol . Sounds dodgy to me.

I know the give away is over, i wasn't after any seeds , nice offer by the way Alchemica, and good theme, but I would still like to say what I am grateful for today..... Today I had a very tedious and stressful job to tend to which took up most of the day. A friend who knew I had a this task at hand sent me random text messages through out the day which made me smile and made the task more bearable. I'm greatful for that friends randomness today.

I feel bad I have added to the change in the camping trip, and I'm disapointed that I won't get to hang out with the crew. I was so hoping things would be sorted for me by now. A rain check it is. Thanks guys.

I am experiencing some life shit that i was hoping would be sorted by now, but alas its still weighing me down. I am not sure if i can come camping, but am not ruling it out all together. I'm not trying to back out due to the EGA thing..... there's nothing i'd like more than to spend a few days in the bush with you nutty plant heads. I'll continue to follow this thread, and wait and see what the universe has in store for me. Edited to not sound so dramatic. lol.

Don't cha hate it when... Someone tells you to keep a certain date free cause somethings on, so you put in for the weekend off (which is where the bulk of my wage would come from), and then at the last minute, they jump ship. *shrugs. Oh well, at least now i can say ...'Thank F#&% it's Friday' !!! lol.

When i first joined SAB, incognito had the gender set as 'female' , swore like a trouper and had a weird avatar that looked like the silhouette of someone plumpish. I had this image in my head of incognito being a rough, large, toothless, tattooed truck driver woman (not that theres any thing wrong with that, lol). It was ages before that image left my mind when reading his posts. Give it time, i reckon he will miss us too much and come back with many a story to tell. In the mean time... happy travels nito.

I know what you are saying gem. I love both my dogs, but there's something about my Jack Russel, Buddy, i dunno, he and i have a special bond for sure. It worries me how attached i am to him, because if any thing ever happened to him, i dont think i could cope. Hes the smartest dog I've ever encountered hey. We started having code words for things like 'walk' 'laser' 'bone' 'car' , but he soon learned those, so we started spelling them, but he learned those too, lol. If i am about to share some food with him, and hes not sure he will like it (going by the smell), he signals he wants me to put the morsel of food on the floor instead of in his mouth. He looks down at the ground, like nods a few times , looking at me and then the ground. Hes a little shit though, and he'll growl at me if i am annoying him. Hes got issues thats for sure, but his pluses out weigh the minuses. Takoda the border collie is so loyal, such a good girl (well, a bit naughty, lol), but shes a dumb dumb, lol. (yes i know....border collies are meant to be the smartest dogs). She has a bit of a bladder problem at the moment and wees while shes asleep. Shes off to the vet this arvo, so i hope its easily treatable. Some one at work was telling me her border collie leaked wee and ended up being diabetic. eeeeek.

Done. .however, the date is set up in American format..so instead of 11/10/15 it says 10/11/15 . Lol. Anyone can add an even to the calendar
