    Help moderating my pot intake

This might be an unconventional suggestion, but I am in the process of quitting smoking tobacco (not quitting marijuana though) and I have found that getting into drinking tea every day is helpful at least when I am at home. I have lighter, less-caffeinated white teas for right when I wake up, some darker oolongs and such for when I want a drink more like coffee, some herbal teas for nutrition, herbal teas for immune support, herbal teas to help getting to sleep, and some others that are just nice to drink like some chais and ginger teas. Then there's all the plants from the garden which are fun to make into teas. Because I have options as to which tea I want it's like taking healthy drugs and there's hardly a time when I don't have an appropriate tea to drink. I have tried pills, gum, chemical inhalers, the patch, and licorice root in the past with not much result but by becoming fascinated with tea I think I have found a good mechanism to help myself not smoke.

    Feeding Salvias?

Be careful not to overfeed your Sallies. They will turn a pleasant dark green but it is a sign of overfertilization. They don't really need much fertilizer in my experience but I had one that's about 1.5-2 feet tall and had been in the same pot for over a year that was starting to show yellow leaves. I sort of don't like growing Salvia d. and often torture mine, but this time I peed all over its leaves and into the pot. It's now bushing out healthy green leaves and full of renewed energy hehe.

  4. I am from Oregon, USA and here there is a place called the Rebuilding Center. They are a not-for-profit business that gets used building materials through donations (which affords people tax writeoffs) and also offer a service to deconstruct buildings rather than demolish them in order to salvage materials. They do very good business and it's a mutually beneficial arrangement for all parties since donators get writeoffs, people are employed, and the customer gets a bargain. I'm actually surprised I haven't encountered this type of business model a lot more as it seems like a sustainable, profitable operation that could get easy access to lots of free building materials in any major city.

    Paul Stamets 'Life Box'

I have one of these boxes sitting at home right now. It came when my friend and I ordered some spawn from fungi perfecti (we live in Oregon, USA). They are full of native tree and shrub seeds as well as dusted with mycorrhizal fungus spores and come with special instructions. It's cool that he is shipping some products in these.
  6. Nice link. I bookmarked it. Lots of cool ariocarpus pictures!
