    2018 Winter shroom pilgrimage.

Hi all.... like many of you im sure, I journey to some very beautiful and magic spots throughout the winter and get some great pics every year, so I thought I would share some with the community this year and at the same time make a commitment to brush up on my mycology and become a little more familiar with the folk im seeing during my travels with a little help from you all of course Ive been using the big ol web for identification to this point... but I intend on purchasing a book to take out field with me... I thought id ask for some suggestions for good Australian Id handbooks you guys are fond of before i go picking one up... would be greatly appreciated The season has been off to a slightly slower start than last but I managed to get some nice shots for the first short trek of the season.... all pine today but will be out in the native flora soon enough Im yet to do any deep work with the Amanita but I admire their vibrant nature and deep history... Gymnopolus. I have no idea what these are but they are huge.. haha. Mycena Genus? Armillaria? Not sure Some funky friends Chloropyllum? someone told me these are edible? Galerinas? Any help and advice on a good handbook would be appreciated... Cheers! ~Blessings.

    2018 Winter shroom pilgrimage.

Thank you lindsay Quite a delay at my end, apologies, I had been incognito for some time due to some ripples among the community here over the winter....I will most definitely employ your aid over the next season when i'm back out there, sharper than ever Thanks again, very handy indeed. Cheers.
  3. Unconditional Love Plant medicines surely can become a reciprocal cycle and process.... more often than not in my experience due to the self not getting the message or learning the lesson... Eat clean, do the meditations yes but ceremony is of utmost importance imo.... if your not clearly asking for healing and progression then you'll go around and around until you find your voice.... or meditate endlessly on an ideology or intention without it ever coming to fruition.... Healing from the plant teachers must be asked for, respected, revered and honored.... in my experience and bearing witness to the journeys of my fellow brothers and sisters .... if these are not taken into consideration it will potentially become a maddening loop of uncertainty... When the two eyes become one, you will say to the mountain move and it shall move. But it has to be seen and it has to be said Satnam.

    Psilocybe and Xochipilli

Wow, cosmic to stumble onto this...I only briefly read over this discussion but thought I might add something as Xochipilli has been in my awareness of late, I have a mural on my wall with the prince surrounded by some of the plants listed above but also noticeably mushrooms at his feet... I came across Xochipilli doing some research on Aztec an Mayan use of sacred Cacao, I don't quite remember exactly where, I was doing a lot of quick information gathering/browsing but the prince was strongly linked with Ixcacao and the Mayans and Aztecs strongly linked the two together...Cacao and Psilocybin ...Mexicana? Aztecorum? Anyways...Maybe look deeper into Cacao use and there may be some link tucked away in there somewhere.... Also if you guys aren't on board with the ceremonial cacao I would strongly recommend it ;D Beautiful medicine.

    Ephedra Sinica (Ma-Huang)

Looking for a reasonably established plant, will however settle for seedlings, haven't had much luck with germination, have one ephedra in the garden already but cant for the life of me identify it accurately..... PM me if anyone can help a brother out Cheers
  7. This is a great example of how times are changing... new traditions incorporating the old and respecting its history while still meeting the needs of new comers like us westerners... great clip
  8. Imho... any medicine is far more effective alone... its you face yourself....no distractions, no interruptions... don't have to worry about spewing on anyones stuff or shitting your pants... it feels to me alot more committed and serious with a stronger intent of healing and learning.... and imo always delivers the most... Ive read alot of shamans saying that the icaros are for healing yes but they are also a lifeline to prevent people going to deep..... where as other new age healers don't use icaros and let people sit in complete silence to go deeper undisturbed... I like to think that we should be able to choose how far we go.... A Traditional ceremony in the sense of all the bells and whistles i think is for the traditional use of making the villager/citizen more comfortable.... Haha sea legs... From what Ive read it seems you can just go to very different places with other people/groups if everyones on the same page chanting and signing can be very rewarding all seeing and feeling the same experience telepathically... that rocks my socks a little....
  9. I always remember Terence saying traditional Ayahuasca is the shaman drinking and identifying and telling you whats wrong.... if your drinking then its not traditional...haha.. But then times change don't they...complex situations call for complex remedies.... now we all drink... we all self diagnose under guidance.... or with no guidance.... I also remember Terence saying that more often than not its too weak and you go all the way over there for a mid strength experience... I believe he was an advocate for building your own damn boat....haha In my understanding Tobacco or Mapacho is held in higher regard for healing than Aya... Aya helps you to heal yourself by knowing and understanding what ails you so that you can be liberated from the suffering of it.... I always thought the dietas were more so for people learning how to commune more directly with the spirit as a means of learning how to become a curandero or healer... Always interesting to read new bodies of information.... cheers
  10. " Making large scale production a possibility" ?? I dunno about you guys but i reckon theres a pretty large scale of natural psilocybin ready to go! No production needed!.... On top of the already mentioned chemical synthesis haha.. Odd... funny how we put these silly abstract hurdles in the way of our own evolution..... almost as if theres some kind of conspiracy at play here.... Haha
  11. I believe there is a mind and spirit driving the will of evolution... call it mother nature, gaia, what be it... mother nature seems a fitting title seemings we depend on her for all we need to thrive.... creatively or spiritually of course... cant remove all the mystery I agree that the focus on understanding the process is great...im also an advocate for just being in awe at how these compounds came to be so naturally abundant and so conveniently placed in our food chain.... almost as a mother would.... haha... Maybe once we understand the processes of these enzymes and their nature we may understand that there is ultimately a force or spirit behind all of it.... and bring us full circle back to being content with awe haha... Hoffmeister made me chuckle....haha :D
  12. I extol your efforts and knowledge to go to such lengths to share all of this... for our benefit.... Wouldn't home made nutmeg butter be a dream tho.....from what ive read about nutmeg... im not sure how active it is orally but in a cream??? Haha.... but if it had any oral effects I imagine they would compliment the cacao beautifully...... Nutmeg is a tricky thing tho as i understand......?

    New Music

Loving that low bass and the octaves being plucked seductively in 'From the stars'........ great playing style... digital or analog? Some groovy tunes either way!
  14. Wow.... Adelaide.....haha... here i was starting to think our focus was solely roadworks and silly multi-million dollar overpasses..... This is great news!
  15. This is great info.... Ive been experimenting with essentials and altered states a little... Frankincense and Clove are two of my favorite.... Lemon myrtle and Orange are incredible also.... :D
  16. Insequent... Thank you.... Hope is all we have....its all that keeps me going through doubt and bias stigmas our culture imposes, the idea of matching everyone else's vibration....for the illusion of comfort..... seeing the 1000 yard stare in the faces of alot people around me, empty, in a state of neurosis, that we all bare witness to... those of us that can see.... Hope passed on from those who walked this path before us.....consciously..... thats what i feel in Terence's words and i hope that reiterating some of his work will spark and ignite new flames within myself and others who may or may not otherwise be exposed to this liberated perspective and understanding.... i feel some responsibility to.....as understanding it makes us a part of it...consciously.....we are all part of the same story... whether we accept it or not haha.... Its sad that so much must be reiterated.....like we are all in some kind of time lapse..... desperately trying to remember and find what was lost so long ago... Which i believe to be Unity....complete and harmonic balance with our entire surroundings and each other... The only way out is through... Time is change. Peace and love
  17. Hello all....id been sitting with this project of mine on the back burner that I wasnt really sure what to do with....I made it to spread the message that Terence voiced so passionately....to keep his voice alive and not forgotten.... with a different energy.... Ive shared it in my circle but only a few of my friends understand the point haha as it sparks some controversy with some people......so i thought maybe there are some awesome like minded people here that might appreciate it... All the music has been done by myself with acoustic instruments...nothing digital except the reverb and mastering and of course the sample of Terence which was quite hard to level being an old recording from some hut in the amazon haha.... but have a listen...maybe some of you will resonate with it.... Peace :D Tear_apart_the_earth.mp3
  18. Thankyou guys i make my own didges as most of the music i write is in 432hz i make the didges mostly to that hertz when i tune them...they are incredible, simple and beautiful instruments... ive been trying to put a slightly more serious but still heartfelt and sincere mood to some of Terence's work... different than other music i have heard using his magic.. i feel everything he said during his time with us is even more relevant and urgent in todays society and culture and should continue to be heard in whatever form continues to carry his voice... Im stoked you guys appreciate it as it is purely experimental... This is exactly the kind of feedback that gets me charged to keep it going.... Find the others! Haha
  19. This is a 2nd project.... little bit trickier sample but i like it.... maybe you guys will also This is my sound cloud where ill be posting future Terence projects and other influenced expressions: All though ill probably still continue to post them here also....feel free to check it out Peace. 20. Hi Insequent, Thank you for your kind words on the piece.... Ah we can dream cant we...Terence in the classroom....Unfortunately with the education system not being all that educational i don't see it happening anytime soon....unless our idea of "schooling" were to undergo some serious revision haha....The Mushrooms for the masses quote is a good one i think.....quite a schooling in itself haha certainly educational...... For me music is my way of bringing back my experiences, well i try....Terence could describe and pontificate so beautifully and accurately his perspectives for us to bathe in but he did admit his pain of not being a great artist outside of his ability to explain his views to us, he made us laugh and made us cry, he was still an artist.....and thats where i think the responsibility falls on the people who can create something different to show society, something beyond our language barrier, to pause the neurosis for a moment of clarity and perhaps shift perspectives....if only for a moment.... This was just an experiment and my own way of honoring the man himself....gotta keep carrying the torch...anyway we can.... The woman you described sounds to me like a very clear reflection of how ignorant and in denial our collective consciousness really is....how deep that part of ourselves truly is lost and asleep in the deepest of slumbers......this is the severity we face and as Terence said " The question is can we change our minds fast enough" This shadow part of ourselves is always going to be present and we will always face neurotic behaviors, dogmas and stigmas ...that is the challenge....to maintain compassion and not lose your footing and to keep going and create something beautiful to share that people will feel in their hearts, something real....the mind is lost...distracted....entertained and saturated with over stimulation... Insanity is a perfectly normal reaction to an insane environment....We have tumbled down this rabbit hole now we have to find our way out... The only way we can do this is together, so this is the part of myself that is reaching in and reaching out, reaching out to embrace the random, reaching out to embrace whatever may come.......in this case thats you :D Thank you for your support, it truly gives me hope.
  21. Thats a tricky one to interpret Manu haha :D Thankyou all though..... i am stoked to see it appreciated here...i wasnt sure what to expect....cheers!
  22. Greetings all I am new here but very grateful to be apart of this wonderful and awakened community and hope to contribute and continue to grow with it as it has helped me to learn and grow prior to becoming a member :D Thought it best to introduce myself before asking any questions. I am a keen trich enthusiast, Lophs, Fungi, Natural medicines and medicinal herbs, I support the EGA, I am fascinated with spiritual and metaphysical exploration, A student and acolyte to the sacred plants, fungi and spirits, I am deeply enveloped within my sacred garden and my sacred works, which include deeper and more extensive works with trichs, Acacia, Fungi, Herbal medicinal teas and tinctures and much more... Id love to hear from anyone that's interested in similar fields and exchange knowledge, as I believe it is meant to be shared to all who truthfully seek it I was motivated to start posting with the hope of identifying an ephedra that dwells within my garden I acquired from a member here and they were unsure of it as was the person they had aquired it from, it was sold on the pretence of possibly being E.sinica, I may have to wait a while longer while it matures but any assistance would be greatly appreciated, Cheers. Ps, im not sure If the image uploaded very well I may need to upload it again, apologies for my poor internet connection.

    Define God

During all the headscratching i have done reading through Mahayana Buddhist texts and countless other culture comparisons, kundalini yoga, shamanic studies including the terabada buddhist shamans, it seems to me the deities are beings or energy representations from higher or other dimensional planes above ours the 3rd, usually being the case... Which we in turn give our energy away too through worship and praise, these deities may not always be as they seem and may have ulterior motives...as Terence implied these things are malarkey and have been repeated through tradition creating culture which we rely heavily upon for our comfort and peace of mind, our security blanket, through all the dimensions there are different deities mentioned at different levels, all with different intentions, the main game seems to be energy though and sourcing that from lower dimensional beings prolonging their existence... Nothing new when you look at our own hierarchy here we are a reflection of the divine, but through it all i came across a description of a place much like shangri-la, a place of eternal nirvana, our resting place between lives and other dimensional existences, we return to this source, and if there is in fact this source that we all carry a spark of inside of us, some more than others, buddah, jesus, etc or should i say some are more aware of it and in tune with it. Then it would seem to me we are all of the same source and that source always seems to be called or described as God, hence in turn we all embody 'God' as it is what animates us and drives our will in all forms, it is the flame inside our very being and essence and echoes through eternity into all forms and all moments... just my two cents Some very interesting perspectives and bodies of information here, does have me scratching my head further yet haha.
