#2 is super pedro aka cordobensis aka lance aka spiney scop. Have seen a few examples of this from HHH in melbs, one person i know was told by the hhh staff their super ped cutting was super pedro x psycho0 but its just plain old super ped. I have seen enough offspring and parents in all conditions of said cross to know the seller was talking shit about its ID, cant expect too much from HHH though!

I couldnt agree more really Michael, like trying to "guess" the origin of any plant with an unknown background, it is a hopeless mission without a solid answer at the end. All based on assumption and personal views which is why i like to just clump plants into whatever category I think they fit. Doing this i have found upsets some ppl easily and they would rather use long winded terms or argue their assumptions about plants rather than "clump" plants into groups, but, each to their own. For example, the plant i have labeled as "short spine bridgesii" is an obvious hybrid, found growing in a large psycho0 planting next to another strange looking bridgesoid, my assumption is a fallen fruit from psycho0 which was pollinated by a PCpach as it looks extremely similar to the plants of the same cross i have grown yet i will never know for sure. Therefore, due to its general appearance, short spined brigesii seems apt regardless of what ppl assume and would like to argue in regards to its "true" name/origin, after all, you can only fit so much on a label and i havent got time to argue about what may or may not be. When anyone asks about J3, what is it etc, my general answer is a hybrid of peruvianoid appearance. Anything other than that is just speculation, but we all like trying to solve a good mystery dont we Yeah, when are you going to sort out that cordobensis, lance, super pedro conundrum for us Michael I thought i read somewhere about it being a Sth Am import to Au???? dunno, my memory is as good as my organisational skills, sweet fuk all to nil. Interesting you say that nitro. When i first encountered J3 i pressumed it to be a bridgie x super pedro, the idea of super ped being a parent came when i saw the two plants (J3 and S ped) in close proximity to each other and flowering at the same time (the only trichos flowering on that day). The flowers on the J3 were very similar to the super ped, ie, the flowers seemed large. Anyone that has seen super ped flower will understand what im saying when i say "seemed large" as the flowers look big and fat but are in fact around the same size as other tricho flowers. I quizzed the owner who gave me the cryptic reply "well it very well could be", with a wide grin. I think the grin he gave was perhaps more for me trying to figure out the impossible lol. I do see bridgie traits in J3 especially if it is grown hard in full sun etc. Mum first, dad second MUM X DAD Who was doing that genetic testing again.......

Maybe it is just a product of the flash, the striking white that is. The moisture on the pach and knuth cuttings showed up as that silver so i assume any white surface would have reflected back a bit of light making it seem a brighter white, just look at the pebbles in the pot! Incog, i agree wit ya about tha scale, although here scale digs the old standard pc pach more than knuth. I was scale free until i got sent a cutting of a "mystery tricho" from the free trade thread here. It was me. Slack as i let this one go for a couple of weeks too long due to other more pressing matters and the fact was i didnt have the money after bills etc so i had to wait till this fortnights pay, then the post office was closed yesterday so today it got posted. Problem solved and there is a free loph graft in the package which is on its way. The horror, australia is going to be overrun with beef cattle now we arent live exporting. There is such a thing as carcass and meat export ffs. The only problem with a wounded galah is that the other galahs wont leave it until it is dead. In the end though, its a galah that has been hit by a car, its gon happen, they are nutters lol. Saying there is huge numbers of them dont make it any easier for some ppl, if an animal is suffering, it is suffering. Most galahs that get hit by a car dont survive which i think is due to their small size like you mentioned BM....... they do taste good though. As for tawnies, i dunno what it is about them, they dont seem solidly built or super strong but i have hit a couple with the the car and they are fine after it. One i must have shocked a bit so i picked him up and put him on the back floor of the car but as soon as the door opened up 5 mins later he flew out, the other one flew off before i could get too close. Seeing a hit or hitting the odd galah doesnt move me much at all to be honest but i do hate seeing huge goannas and dragons etc dead on the road, especially when the goanna is a 2mtr local (with feet the size of your hands) on the side of the road and its blindingly obvious that a driver has reversed up and dropped the clutch right on top of the dying goanna. Most ppl around here still swerve to kill snakes on the road!

Nah Rod is a clone from interbieng different to all others i have, vigorous pupping. Jess is different to bruce although i initially thought them very similar i now see the differences. Not the same as psycho0 from what i have seen. Its just a cool tricho trait that displays itself more often with bridgies ime. I have a 4 ribbed bruce, psycho0, essendon and glenrowan, prolly a couple others if i had a good look. I was surprised to see psycho0 go four ribs though. Ya should do that but include other clones also, it would be interesting to see tha results .

Well in the news segment all it said was its a trial and there is no ban just a polite, can you please remove your hood. The way i see it, if im asked to remove my hood in a shop i would have no problems doing so depending on how i was asked of course but i wouldnt take off my hoodie altogether, that said, i dont find it comfortable to wear my hood up generally unless its really cold but usually i have my beanie on anyways lol. More often than not (depending on how feral my hair is or if i have any at the time) i will take off my beanie when going into a shop as it used to be common courtesy to remove your hat when indoors but i guess that "common courtesy" is seen as old fashioned or a waste of time these days. Sometimes i will leave it on if im only rushing in and out but ya gotta remember, it is a hell of a lot colder in Vic than it is in sunny Queensland. All in all though, this idea seems a tad retarded and i doubt it will get much further than the trial, if someone wants some coin and they plan on taking it from your cash register then a ban on hoodies and beanies isnt gon do jack shit. "Please remove your hood sir", "Hows get fucked sound and whilst ya busy gettn fucked, how about you please remove the cash from the register and fill this beanie sir" With some ppl, it is better if the beanie is left on, god knows how long it has been on there or what is hiding under it!
