http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-05-10/medicinal-cannabis-bill-to-be-introduced-in-queensland/7399794 Some Queensland doctors could be prescribing medicinal cannabis to patients from as early as next month, the State Government says. i.e. this month. However, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk warned this was not a first step toward broader decriminalisation of the drug. "This is in no way a green light for the recreational use of cannabis nor for people to grow their own cannabis, even if for therapeutic use," she said. To that I say, hmmm, not buying it Anna. You and I both know what comes next, don't we love? AND THIS http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-05-10/medicinal-cannabis-bill-to-be-introduced-in-queensland/7399794 Health Minister Cameron Dick will introduce the Public Health (Medicinal Cannabis) Bill 2016, which he said would create the most progressive laws in Australia and set up a robust framework to ensure it was prescribed safely. Please keep your eyes open for this type of comment. "Progressive". Oh, we're progressive with cannabis now are we? Well lets just see how 'progressive' the until now quiet ACT and SA get by the end of the year. Yeah I reckon every state will start getting a whole lot more 'progressive' as the next 12 months roll on. Goddamn, that was fast. Still, gotta stay ahead of the competition. One-upmanship I think it's called...

Too cold yet bruz. Gotta wait for the soil temps to come up a bit more I reckon, and for that humidity to hit around that magic 100%. Bad Trips - James Jesso in Sydney

Only heard of the one blackout, and that was from fresh pans. From on the back at floor level to standing, after many timeless intentions to do such and each attempt thwarted by wobbly legs, or just getting to a knee, then just going for the full stand up. Apparently very DMT like in the onset of the headrush, but with the familiar tunneling/blackout of the pass out/faint. Or so I've heard.

Gotta wait for those steady legs/head before you make a move aye. Psilocybin head rush will put anybody on their arse calling feably for their missus to peel them of the hardwood floor...

Not cannabis related, and they forgot to mention she drilled a hole in her head once, but still first story on the ABC. What the fuck is going on?! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-10-05/amanda-fielding-queen-of-psychedelics-beckley-foundation/11543064 From her family home, Amanda Feilding, the Countess of Wemyss and March, has launched an unlikely renaissance: the return of psychedelic research to the mainstream.

https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=882d871e-a45c-4ce3-8dcc-cb170abd20ff Reforms underway for Medicinal Cannabis in Australia Executive summary Cannabis was high on the regulatory agenda in September, with two significant developments: 1. Professor John McMillan AO's Final Report of the review of Australia's medicinal cannabis framework under the Narcotic Drugs Act 1967 (Cth) (ND Act) was tabled in Parliament on 5 September 2019, ahead of the 29 October 2019 target date recommending extensive amendments to the regime for cultivation, production and manufacture of medicinal cannabis in Australia; and 2. The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) voted to legalise the personal possession and cultivation of cannabis. Changes to ACT Legislation The ACT Legislative Assembly voted to legalise the personal possession and cultivation of cannabis on 25 September 2019. The changes will allow adults to possess up to 50 grams per person and to grow up to four plants at a premises. The amendments have been approved in principle and will come into effect on 31 January 2020. ACT is the first Australian state/territory to legalise the recreational use of cannabis. Final Report Reviewing Framework for Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation, Production and Manufacture Professor John McMillan AO's review was conducted on the extensive amendments made to the ND Act in 2016, which established a regime for the cultivation, production and manufacture of medicinal cannabis in Australia. A link to the Final Report is here.

YouTube some of Kilindi Iyi's talks and you'll defo find references, ala McKenna, to the idea that the apple was a mushroom, Jesus was a mushroom, the Catholic Church is an amanita cult, etc. which is always worth a listen to. Hooj +1 to the idea that the Roman Empire had something to do with the proliferation of Christianity: initially they had everything to do with it. You can't control the majority of the known world, and then institute an alternative, empire-wide, government-supported religion and not spread that stuff around. That's social control 101 bruz.

Where do people sell second hand vape gear in Australia?

^ Bruz, when I get my Solo 2 I might have to chuck my old one in the mail I've used the WISPR and the Plenty, the Extreme Q and the Solo, and out of all of them the Solo is by far the best: good vapour, reasonably portable, changeable battery, in line charging, ceramic element (I know a lot don't care about this but imo heating aluminium of any type and then inhaling from it isn't a good look), easy to clean and maintain, nice features, and a wealth of back up supplies for the occasional broken stem or whatnot from Australian Vaporizers. What more could you want? Maybe a slightly quicker charging time I guess. And btw if the Solo 2 is too much $ I would still recommend the Solo. I have had mine for around 8 years, hasn't skipped a beat, apart from replacing batteries, and it has taken a few falls as well... It just hasn't got all the new fancies of the Solo 2, but it's essentially the same device with an analogue interface as opposed to digital. And I fucking flog it Can't recommend Arizer products enough.

It's DIY and Australian Vaporisers sells the batteries separate, $50 or so I think. I'm assuming the same is true for the Solo 2, which will be mine soon... very soon.

Bahaha, classic. Of course the Daily Telegraph has a frontage like that. Wouldn't be the DT if it didn't Either way it goes it's a win, because it puts the spotlight where it needs to be, and the people of our country actually get a bit of insight into what is going on re drug policy in this country. Largely it's a bust here and a medical there. This puts the topic where it needs to be re public consciousness imo. Most people who read that fucking rag have no idea what is going on around the world re cannabis, let alone in their own country. And re, re, rere. I'll shut up now.

https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6397162/labor-backbencher-very-confident-cannabis-bill-will-pass/ The ACT government on Thursday outlined a number of amendments it intends to make to the bill ahead of next week's debate, including placing a limit of four plants per household. The existing bill included no household limit. Individuals would be allowed to possess a maximum of two cannabis plants, rather than four, under the proposed amendments. Cannabis must be kept out of reach of children, while growing the plants in community gardens would be banned, under other suggested changes. On Friday, Mr Pettersson welcomed the amendments, which he described as "sensible". This shit is happening... fukn finally.

The suspense, and reading of various older posts on the topic, is too much now. Cheers.

I reckon (hope?) that we will have a double wet spell this year, with an early, half-hearted downpour followed by the real deal in Jan or something. As far as plastic on the ground goes there's only one way to find out bruz. Definitely still too cold on the ground for the little flowers but give it time and see what happens aye?
