There Are Huge Hidden Costs Of Alcohol And Drug Problems In Australian Workplaces

Alcohol's tale in our society is a morbid one indeed. http://www.responsiblechoice.com.au/alcohol/is-it-too-morbid/ -
NSW Premier Mike Baird rolls up on legal medicinal cannabis
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in Ethnobotany
5- 10 years. Legal in all states to varying degrees, with licensed retail availability. First state to reform cannabis laws for recreational use will be the richest Australian state into the next decade. Thus spake Responsilthustra. -
Oregon Marijuana Legalization Initiative Qualifies for November Ballot

Never thought I'd say it, but to quote America: World Police "America; FUCK YEAH!" ... at least in terms of cannabis reform anyway -
But they know they can’t keep the industry if they can’t ensure supply, and they are enthusiastic supporters of genetic engineering. One of the most worrying sentences out of the whole thing.

Water, cannabis (if you are somewhere it is legal) and licorice tea. Actually coconut water would be perfect if you can get it.

Vic cops question pregnant mother & seize cannabis medication for disabled son
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in News & Notices
Mate, at the moment medical cannabis users are sitting ducks. Po-po's gotta keep busy, busting easy targets like this is a good way to do it. How else can they justify their existence, and ever-increasing militarisation and recruitment? As far as parents giving drugs to their children, big pharma can suck a HUGE dick, because ALL of their drugs are liver toxic AT THE VERY LEAST. GP's generally know fuck all anyway, except what their big pharma reps tell them, so if it were me and my children there wouldn't even be a question -
Sydney pharmacist says there is no import barrier to medical marijuana

Anything > advanced politics -
Bahahahaha. "Given the expertise we have with narcotics, which it could be argued are more dangerous than medicinal hemp or THC, I would be surprised that we wouldn't at least look at it," Mr Ritchie said. Yes sir, it could be argued opiates are more dangerous than cannabis. So funny. Also love that bit about concern that recreational cannabis might follow on from medical. OF COURSE IT WILL YOU DUMB FUCKS! THAT'S THE POINT. Money makes the world go round, each state wants to be the one to get Colorado-type tax revenue, and the way to do that is LEGALISE COMPLETELY. Our Yank masters have given our fucking bitch-arse politicians the green light now. I've said it before, and will again. It's a numbers game. No compassion involved, just dollars. The end is nigh, and fuck all your moral judgements and unfounded, propaganda fueled concerns and misgivings. 5 - 10 years and it will be all over red rover. The race is on, and the first state to legalise completely will be the richest in the country. Which state doesn't want that? Guess I better make a website about flouridation now...

Love that comment at the end. I think I've actually said pretty much the same in another thread. -

Yeah, it's progress, but all of this dancing around the main issue is starting to give me the shits. Just say that it is way safer than all of our legal drugs, look to the US (which we obviously are despite claims that cancer patients and medical users needing it) for a regulatory framework, i.e. Colorado, Washington, or even Uruguay) and get the buds in the hands of those who want them asap. Stop all the dicking around and justification via the medical profession. Fuck I am going to be fuming if medical is all we have for another 10 years because people and politicians don't come out and speak evidence-based truth about cannabis. It's been so long since we've had anything close to it in this country.

US - Drinking behind 1 in 10 deaths of working-age adults
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in Chill Space
Throwing the term 'binge-drinking' around within the alcohol conversation unfairly takes attention away from the massive issue surrounding long term effects of regular alcohol consumption of any amount. http://www.responsiblechoice.com.au/alcohol/cancer-as-an-effect-of-alcohol/ -
Hormone-disrupting activity of fracking chemicals worse than initially found

What's is wrong with flammable water coming out of our taps? It's actually an energy saving measure; you can heat and cool at the same time. That's science! -

WA Liberal MP calls for action out of synthetic drug confusion
-RC- replied to CLICKHEREx's topic in News & Notices
If WA sounds like a strange place re drug laws that's because the current government's drug laws are fucking archaic, let alone their cannabis laws which are about 20 steps backwards from the former gov's. www.responsiblechoice.com.au/alcohol/cannabis-propaganda/ ** it seems the first clip has been taken down... ahem. -
Pretty much all pharmaceutical drugs are liver toxic, period. But we love our band-aids, and don't ask me to take responsibility for my own health because we live in the 21st century where I don't have to; big pharma has my back...
