spaced, I have had hypnagogic hallucinations quite a few times, I get them quite regularly, I will sort of be conciously dreaming, and they are mostly unpleasant, and I get out of the hypnagogic state and have muscle spasms, etc.

The Police, I agree that people saying Melatonin is from dead people to be bullshit, if that was true, Melatonin would be closer to $300 per 3mg, because I dont think they would charge about 50c to extract some Melatonin from a dead person. I was wondering if anyone had heard of 5htp? I was talking to a friend in Canda, and he says its supposed to halve the time it takes to get to sleep. I have trouble getting into good sleep patterns. I would be interested in any Australian suppliers of Melatonin, I ordered some from JLF a while ago, not knowing it was Melatonin, just because it was a tryptamine. Any good tips/personal tips of getting good healthy sleep would be appreciated, I know going for a run a few hours before bed is good to ease sleep and clear the head. Spaced, I have in the past, mixed DXM with many drugs. Are you aware of any ways to treat seratonin syndrome? As simple as taking L-Tryptophan? I have read about treatment, but I cant remember what it said, it might have been see your doctor heh peace - trypt

For anyone who was wondering about which toads and the active tryptamines in them, however people who want to try and use 5-MeO-DMT are better off buying it synthesised, very similar to DMT, after the first few seconds, but doesnt continue as visually, anyway heres an extract: "Psychedelic Toads Bufotenine and related 5-hydroxy-indolethylamines are common constituents of venoms of the genera Hyla, Leptodactylus, Rana and Bufo. Bufotenine is not psychedelic in reasonable doses (with larger doses there are dangerous physiological side effects), but the skin of one species, Bufo alvarius, contains 50-160 mg 5-MeO-DMT/g of skin (Daly & Witkop 1971). It's the only Bufo species known to contain a hallucinogenic tryptamine (McKenna & Towers 1984). Most (1984) gives instructions for collecting and drying the venom: Fresh venom can easily be collected without harm to the toad. Use a flat glass plate or any other smooth, nonporous surface at least 12-inches square. Hold the toad in front of the plate, which is fixed in a vertical position. In this manner, the venom can be collected on the glass plate, free of dirt and liquid released when the toad is handled. When you are ready to begin, hold the toad firmly with one hand and, with the thumb and forefinger of your other hand, squeeze near the base of the gland until the venom squirts out of the pores and onto the glass plate. Use this method to systematically collect the venom from each of the toad's granular glands: those on the forearm, those on the tibia and femur of the hind leg, and, of course, the parotoids on the neck. Each gland can be squeezed a second time for an additional yield of venom if you allow the toad a one-hour rest preiod. After this the glands are empty and require four to to six weeks for regeneration. The venom is viscous and milky-white in color when first squeezed from the glands. It begins to dry within minutes and acquires the color and texture of rubber cement. Scrape the venom from the glass plate, dry it thoroughly, and store it in an airtight container until you are ready to smoke it. Davis and Weil (1992) smoked the venom and described what happened: In comparison to the pure compounds the toad venom appears longer lasting and, because one does not completely lose contact with reality, far more pleasant, even sensual. Shortly after inhalation I experienced warm flushing sensations, a sense of wonder and well-being, strong auditory hallucinations, which included an insect-cicada sound that ran across my mind and seemed to link my body to the earth. Though I was indoors, there was a sense of the feel of the earth, the dry desert soil passing through my fingers, the stars at midday, the scent of cactus and sage, the feel of dry leaves through hands. Strong visual hallucinations in orblike brilliance, diamond patterns that undulated across my visual field. The experience was in every sense pleasant, with no disturbing physical symptoms, no nausea, perhaps a slight sense of increased heart rate. Warm waves coursed up and down my body. The effects lasted only a few minutes but a pleasant afterglow continued for almost an hour. There is nothing scary about the effects and no sense of toxicity. I try to describe my feelings but am unable to talk for the first five minutes and then only with some difficulty. This is a powerful psychoactive drug, one that I think would appear to most people who like the effects of hallucinogens. For the next hour I feel slow and velvety, with a slight pressure in my head. ziebonka: I think that it is possible but less likely, because DXM replaces Codeine because it was more usuable, thats if you only have 30ml gomaos: Unfortunately there isnt much info on AMT, its a research chemical, try looking up TiHKAL, it has in depth info on basically every known tryptamine. - trypt

I have found that using a vapourizer is MUCH better than a glass pipe for 5-MeO-DMT and DMT, so my gnome says. He smoked so much less in the vapourizer than the pipe and got blown away better without falling unconscious, its all in the dosage, but with more usage, you develop psychologically something similar to that idea, I want it explained! DXM is a synthetic opioid, so its similar to Codeine in that respect. From my DXM friends in the US, MAOIs and Antihistimines should be avoided if possible before and after doing DXM with at least 3 weeks between use. A friend had DXM a week after an Antihistimine and it was all weird and unpleasant he said. From my experience I have found that mixing alcahol with DXM is not good, at the time it gets you hammered, totally spaces you out with euphoria up your ass, but with noticable long term effects. I was reading about the "seratonin syndrome" from use of acohol and DXM together, if anyone has any information on "seratonin syndrome" itd be greatly appreciated, its supposed to cause too much of a reputake of seratonin, how that can be bad would be complicated I would imagine, but it said that seratonin syndrome can be life threatening if not treated. peace - trypt

Understoon, I hadnt heard of it, until a few weeks ago, a friend in Texas mentioned GNC, and after that I saw one in Southland. There are 8 stores in Victoria, and I thought they were very good, because they are a big chain in the US, they have good prices and as Chem will tell you real SAMe, they also sell their own brand of supplements, I bought some concentrated valerian and passionflower, its much better than anything else ive tried. Ive tried Valerian in pure form (the brown shit taste) and normal capsule. Another thing, the store people know what they're talking about, a welcome change, and they have special knowledge of bodybuilding supplements as well. - trypt

Id be very intersted in a website relating to neurotransmitters and the effects psychoactives have on them, especially DXM, I have heard from many users, some saying their brain is "mush", some suicidal, some have had no effect. I find this very interested and I would like to know how DXM effects the seratonin reputake. - trypt

The effects of 5-MeO-DMT are quite overwhelming, so my gnome says, nearly all of the gnomes friedns find it too overwhelming, my gnome likes it however when the right dose is takes, enough to get really slow vision, but able to move. The sign that youve gone too far is when you cant move, but even worse is when you fall unconscious, thats happened to my gnome once. He got some 5-MeO-DMT from JLF, but uses another supplier now. - trypt
