Pollen reports for the Province of Granada in Spain.

Recommended Posts

Well, there doesn't seem to be any other news here so I thought I might as well report on the pollen types found in Granada.

The worst for allergies at the moment, though lowering fast, thankfully, are graminae (grasses) and olive, with significant quantities of holm oak, lime (Tilia), plantain, pellitory, pine and cannabis.

This might be more undertandable if you look at a map and follow the mountain ranges of the Granada across the sea to Morocco. The inhabitants of the Sierras of Granada have found conditions ideal for cultivation for many years, apparently.
