Gunter Posted September 12, 2005 I think one of the parents is a Gymnocalycium damsii . It has violet flowers from the center and purple skin though and looks only similar to what you depicted. The other parent is the real eye catcher, it has 11 ribs and looks like a hybrid involving G. friedrichii but an exceptional one at that.
