peruvianus ID-help scenario

Recommended Posts

hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could ID this puppy for me. it looks like photos Ive seen on the Erowid site of T.peruvianus, but Ive seen so many photo's of supposed "peruvianoides" that don't look anything like these ones.....

The main thing that makes me think it is, is the incredibly bitter, tongue curling taste that it has (I nibbled a bit when I took the cuttings)

They look really blue in the sun. Heres a close up of the little baby one. There's some mean looking fresh spines starting to poke thru with the new growth...

Anyhelp would be much appreciated

Cheers! -

There ye go,

I'm hopeless with ID, but peruvianus seems spot on to me. Beautiful cacti you've got!

Did you get these in melbourne? Would be keen to know the place so i could pick myself up one or two.
