Topping up soil and potting on

The soil level in my pots have all shrunk since i initally potted the cacti... id like to repot some and top up the soil in others.. before the growing season gets into full swing..

Im worried that the lophs may not like this and wont grow as nicely??

I have had the lophs inside at very low light levels for winter hoping that they will put on a big burst of growth this grow season.. I just don't want to stuff that up..

They are in big enough pots.. i just dont like to see the soil level a couple of inches below the top of the pot. i have been thinking about putting some decorative rocks maybe this is a better idea??

instead of adding more soil to the surface of the pot try tipping the plant out and adding an inch or so of fertile soil to the bottom of the pot then whack the rest back in.

yeah Waterdragon that's what i was meaning.. i wasn't gunna smother my lophs in dirt sorry for the confusion
