Also, you can drag it back together if you use bother fingers and bring them together.

silly feature imo.

Also not to sure what you mean by "text box" in this context? generally a text box is the box in which you type the text into, which would be really weird if you keyboard turned into one of these, at any rate, you can take a screen shot of the problem.

Simultaneously press the Home button and Sleep/Wake button when viewing the screen you want to capture. Your iPad screen will then flash if done correctly, and you’ll hear a faint shutter noise assuming your device isn’t in silent mode.

Once captured, your iPad will automatically save the screenshot directly within your camera roll (aka the Photos app).

and I'm sure you can handle attaching it here.

Normally when you slide the split keyboard back together it does get bigger, but as far as I can tell the "enlarged" size is the normal size and the split keyboard is just smaller.

You need a program like Adobe acrobat.. . The free one is acrobat reader. Not what I am talking about.

You prob have the full version if you have an Adobe creative suite.. . Ie Photoshop etc

There's prob others out there. ..

Also Foxit reader is nice alternative to adobe, bit lighter and allows you to edit fields in PDF.
